EU is very good but it's on the wrong direction nowadays. This was very good project when you consider its original assumptions. But right now too many EU-politicians aspire to create federation of countries and they want to have too much impact on internal politics.
not "A federation" a Communist Federation. i wouldn't mind being under the rule of law of someone who is developing and making a future, I mind being ruled by someone on freefall.
Although Stalin did call every non-communist a "nationalist" it's really wrong to use his terminology. Those people were Poles, Polish soldiers and patriots. Often, they hated nationalism and communism equally.
Benefits of being in EU from Poland POV are obvious, but it doesn't outscale the harm that illegal migration brings. The moment EU pushes it on Poland, there will be riots with very precise focus on government and migrants.
I don't know about a Superpower, but if Poland can manage to stay close to the top, it would be very ideal; she will not have the burden of leadership but will provide her citizens with a decent way of living or maybe even more. The "get it done" culture was there because there was nothing, so there was corruption, that's not the point Chris. The mentality was that you had to "załatwić" because you couldn't get or buy something normally, because it simply disappeared, we're talking about generations of the Polish People's Republic, now it doesn't apply to the same extent as it used to. And this is certainly not the reason for Poland's economic "success". Honestly, I don't even know if there is anything to talk about... Poland has simply caught up with the inequality with the West, but we will certainly not be richer than you, the French or the English. The world order and politics will not allow it, this is how the world works... Politicians simply wanted Poland to be able to decide for itself, and we also cared about it, but without the consent of the West and the weakness of the East, we would not be here in this place. that we are today, and someone wanted this world to look like it does now. Everything is politics. When it comes to trade, in Poland we are currently discussing the construction of the Central Communication Port, which is the most important infrastructure project currently on the agenda in Poland. We have chosen a government, represented by Donald Tusk, that supports European cooperation. Okay, I'm for it, but the problem is that European cooperation means that Tusk probably has to agree to completely block the CPK project, because it conflicts with the German lobby, which does not want a logistics hub in Poland, because it would mean that all goods important for our region, i.e. Eastern Europe, import and export of goods from Asia, or specifically from China, would be transhipped in Poland. Today, all this goes to Frankfurt and millions of euros remain in Frankfurt every year, which should stay in Poland, but do not, because it go to German homes, German families, not Polish ones. So everything is politics and it will not allow the stronger to lose the fight for economic domination and disturb the economic balance, that's how this world works and it hurts me a lot.
A couple additional facts to some things said in the video. Another reason why the Polish economy is so resilient is the fact that we don't have giga corps in Poland which is good an bad at the same time. In good times it slows down growth, because of lack of domestic capital and in bad times the government doesn't need to step in save the giga corps with handouts to avoid a collapse of the economy. Tech and IT - Poland, but also all the other ex-commie states like Estonia, Czechia and Romania heavily invested in tech infrastructure and education. As matter of fact Romania out of all EU countries has the fastest and most accessible internet in the EU and Estonia is the most publicly digitalized country in the world. Ironically Russia's invasion of Ukraine benefited Poland, because all the giga corps that had (or planned to create) their regional headquarters and facilities in Moscow moved those to Poland (Google, Microsoft, Intel, Amazon etc) due to the abundance of good quality IT-workers even tho the wages in IT in Poland aren't really that much lower than in for example in Germany.
Germans are smart, cunning and like to analyse thoroughly (maybe even too much before making a decision). Looking at the amount of German investments in Poland (media as well) it’s not without reason… There is money to be earned
It is important to remember that we still have two huge balls at our feet. Coal mining, on which billions of zlotys are thrown away every year, and agriculture, which, subsidised throughout the EU, keeps the union in the 20th century and prevents it from moving into the 21st.
The last time Poland was a superpower as part of the Polish and Lithuanian Commonwealth it sent the Muscovites, who were invading the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, packing and then went on to conquer and occupy Moscow itself. If the Russians keep pushing the envelope this may happen again, particularly as Poland now has strong NATO allies.

Establishing our own law above the Polish constitution, introducing laws such as the "Green Deal", although it is illegal despite the treaties, and our government also breaks the law. That is why these three parties (one German) mentioned by Ursula as enemies of the EU, they want the EU to be normal. Since you asked if the EU is good, I answer. Regards
That's not "many Poles" who think EU is bad. That's mostly our previous government and their supporters. They're very active in comment sections on youtube. But I can assure it's not the majority.
