As a Russian military officer. l'm using galaxy note 8 for some military jobs. I can tell u that this is the best phone I've ever used. It's very useful for my job.
Had it for 3 days now, it might be the single best electronic experience I've had so far.

7.1 and 6 GB ram. I have both phones, they have around same battery time. Both are great.
Shiba Tatsuya the s8 plus will get it shortly get since the only delay is how it works with the phone os so if it works well on the note 8 then it'll get realeased immediately for the s8 and s8 plus

I got this beast back in 2017, this was the best Samsung phone I ever used I came from a galaxy S6 Edge+ I used it from 2015 to 2017, the specs in 2020 for the note 8 are still pretty strong if you just use it for texting, social media, phone calls etc 6 GB of RAM wasn't really mainstream back in 2017, but now in 2020 mid-range phones have that as standard, they should have added more RAM this would have performed better with 8GB I'm currently using an s10 and plan on getting the S20 Ultra, I came back to this video because I found my note 8 in a drawer and it brought back some memories. I didn't even update the OS, It's still on Android nougat xD

The iPhone X has Fast charging, but as you've said before you have to pay extra 84 dollars (approx.) to get it
I live in Saudi Arabia, and the iPhone X was just announced in one of the well-known retailers and it will cost 1173 dollars.
Add to that the 84 dollars that i will have to pay to get the USB-C adapter and the fast charger then I will pay a total of 1257 dollars.
On the other hand, the Note 8 will actually be cheaper here in Saudi Arabia. The same mentioned-above retailer will sell the Note 8 for 906 dollars. Plus, I wont be paying extra cash to get the fast charging as it will be packed in the box. Moreover, the phone wilkl be shipped with free 128gb SD card and free Note 8 care for accidental repairs (applecare+ for the iPhone X now costs 200 dollars)
SO yeah, I am saving 350 dollars + I am getting a prestigious stylus, free 128GB SD card, and Note 8 care .. And am still getting the greatest Samsung has to offer
There are so many clueless people complaining Note 8 is not much more than S8+ with stylus. They just don't understand that S-pen is not just a stylus. It's a Wacom powered 4k pressure sensitive digitizer. It's like saying Porsche 911 is nothing more than faster Corolla. S-pen can do things that $2000 Wacom tablets do. Sure you can jot down notes but you can also do professional sketching and painting. Check out these videos.

I just replaced the battery on my note 8 got it in 2017 when it just came out for 1000 euro and after so many years it still holds up only problem was the battery after using it formore than 5 years XD.
January 2019... the Note 8 is on sale for 444€ here in Germany. I wanted to get a OnePlus 6T but... yeah... how can I not pick a Note 8 at that price point after having seen all those positive reviews.
Watching this video in 2019 on my note 8 😁😁 whose I just upgraded the OS to android 8, And It's still working smooth. Something like the note10 looks modern, however I do not find any important reasons to change my phone.
How would you rate music quality , when using headphones ?
@@LindenAshbyMKtop notch. cannot complain. If it wouldnt because I cracked the screen, I might still have it. Currently on a S23u and music quality is pretty much the same on the Bose quite comfort and Sony xm3 I have tested
Random question....who puts their phone in their back pocket?
I have had so many friends crack their screens because they forget about their phone and then sit on it....on an all glass design there is no reason to put it in your back pocket.

S pen not the only unique feature here, but what makes Samsung's note 8 a good buy is an all around capability like; phenomenal camera , highest quality display , fast and consistent performance and the ground breaking technology !

Camera wise it's basically the same as the S8+, besides the bokeh and telephoto zoom features
dude its a latest flagship phone.. you can't simply bench it with light games that might work on cheap chinese phones..
bench it with heavy games like vain glory, nfs no limits, and show us the gameplay..

Nice video,but I bought Nokia 6,better for my taste,because I dont need that powerfull processor,dont play games,dont use VR,dont use stylus pen,dont like telephoto lense(would want wide angle like lg) and embedded fingerprint soo 1000€ for basicly dont use,no go for me,perhaps s9+ if Samsung wakes up.

Life Is Hell #1 a nice phone! I was thinking of z2 force cuz of the shatterproff display,but the price could be like 550€ max...than I chose to support Nokia,been at Samsung from 5800 express music,before almost sll Nokia,some SonyEricssons. Loved my s6edge+,Destroyed it :(...my back up fone still works really well tho...motorola xt910 with gingerbread still,wouldnt upgrade it anything hah ;D

Meanwhile devices of 2017 like the GoProHero6 and iPhone 8 both capable of shooting 4k@60 fps or 1080p@120/240 fps videos which is amazing for slow mo videos as it's part of the modern media nowadays ... While the Samsung 2017 mobile family is capable of only 4k@30fps or 1080p@60 maximum ...LOL what a joke #Shamesung

Missing in the review: Is the battery user replaceable? I like carrying an extra battery for my Note 4. Also, does it have NFC?
Larry Johnson, battery is not removable but does have NFC It also has micro sd expansion and mine is also dual SIM although you cannot use sd and two sims at the same time.

LOL, you are dumb. Sony Xperia XZ premium sucks. Even though it has 4k display, it's LCD not AMOLED. It has poor response time and contrast ratio. Also it doesn't do 4k all the time. Most of time it default back to 1080p. It does 4k only on special applications such as photo or video. Other times such as games, browsing, etc., it default back to 1080p. Whereas, Galaxy S8/S8+/Note8, it does 2k+ all the time and it's superior Super AMOLED display.
Stereo speakers are unnecessary for a goddamn phone... can y'all just get over it already.

I see 2 things that are ridiculous here. The size and the price. Don't know why a normal person would buy such an aberration. At this rate Galaxy 20 will be about the size of my 28'' monitor and will cost 10k euros.
The note line hasn't gotten any bigger since Galaxy Note first gen. The Note line is not really intended for average and mediocre people.
I am mediocre, but proud to be the kind of mediocre people who will not spend >400 smartphone, even when I can afford it... Because we are allowing this companies to charge those ridiculous prices...
Cala Content ... its a note phone that is meant to write on, lol. Who would want to write on a screen that is 5.5. Think for a second. THEN, watching movies and TH-cam vids; hell, any vid, is so much better on this phone...especially from a recording aspect. The bigger the screen the better. Now go practice taking notes with a pen on a 5 inch screen and tell me the results.
