I wish these videos wouldn’t get people’s hopes up for buying cheap muscle cars. The classic car market may be under a little pressure due to current economic conditions, but you’ll never find these cars in the condition shown under 10k

My 72 Nova, purchased new, with a 350, 2 barrel, and 3 speed on the floor, was rated at 165 horsepower. But I loved that little car. Have a big block,5 speed, 71 Nova in the garage right now. Waiting on Power Tour

Bought a ‘67 Mustang 289 v8 for 7 grand. I’ve welded and replaced floor pans… replaced about 70% of all parts. It’s a lot and it’s still a lot. Do I regret it? No. Do I wish I forked up an extra 5-10k to buy one in better shape? Yes.
Where can u find these under 10k that aren’t beat up. Nice video tho ❤
I only use Facebook marketplace, usually in either California or Texas because those are mostly rust free.

Almost none of these cars listed can be found for near 10k unless their complete rust buckets…
I showed examples currently for sale, all of them were under 10k and had a picture of the condition

Had a 1950 Chevy coup , 12000miles till it blew. Up. Then my aunt gave me 1954 mercury. She got a new 1966Riverra merc lasted 2000miles surfing everyday,sunset or the jetty's ,then a 1956 Desoto wagging huge surf waggon,50.00 bucks, then a 1953 Plymouth 4door oppiset facing seats4 in back. 3speed no clutch, then then a friend's mom gave our 3man surf club a1954 Chrysler wagon a tank. We kind of finished 11th grade all them days of surfing farmer Jon wet suits was going to one of the fabolis L.A. Jr colleges wanting to be a psychologist and transfer to UCLA . Dropped out for a break of 1 semester. Uncle Sam sent a personal note greetings ur inducted into the USArmy 2months basic 2months ait,in my case advanced infantry training, 2weeks leave off to South V.N. HOME IN A YEAR. that's all folks.

But!! There was a 396 available in 1965!!!It was a Z-16 option.Only 201 were made that year,200 hardtops and 1 convertible,the convertible disappeared and has never been found.These cars had 425hp motors,NOT 375hp like this guy claimed.

Check again. 396 came out in 1965 . The L78 396 did make 425 horsepower ONLY that year. From 1966 and on the L78 dropped power to 375. They also had the L35 325 horsepower and the L37 supposedly making 375 more like 360. Look it up, do your homework.
