xoReni Hey Reni! Did TH-cam let you know i watched a ton of your videos today again? 😀 Well i did. Credit card’s fully paid off as your dad recommended and now we are looking at options for the Investment TFSA. Torn between my bank and the platforms like wealthsimple. What do you recommend?
Sam Balogun it didn’t, just thought I was check in after a week 😁 I’m so glad to hear that you paid of the card! Banks vs independent is reAlly based on personal preference. The bank is more expensive but convenient and the independent companies are cheap/free but you have to wait a few days for money to transfer. I think wealth simple’s platform is great & so easy to use. You can’t go wrong either way!

Great video, pls can you do a video on RESP, RRSP and when to begin to save into these accounts. Should this be done later in life with the gain from investments or along side investing?
Thank you Petra, Great idea! I will put it on our list to do. To answer your question, if you are a parent I suggest starting an RESP for your child as soon as possible. For the RRSP, I suggest contributing to both your RRSP and regular investing account on a regular basis. The compounding effect will help you save for retirement even faster 🙌🏾

Yes could you do a video on how to got a very good stock market Broker? Where do you find them? From my understanding to buy stocks you have to be able to have about 5k and up. So I do mutual funds and the usual RRSP with my work.
I do all self-directed investing, no need to pay a broker! I have a video coming out in two weeks about the difference between self-directed and managed investing 😊

I can't recommend stocks but some stocks that I own are Facebook, Amazon Shopify, PayPal, Microsoft, Square, Datadog, Square.

1. If I've got an account with wealthsimple and another with Say TD, is it possible to have 2 different TFSAs?
2. With cryptocurrency, there's a centralised wallet where your currencies are kept, is there something like so with the stock markets? So say I've got different stocks with 2 different platforms and 1of them has an issue or closes up, what'll happen to my stocks? (Hope I've not confused ya?😂 )

1. Yes, you can have as many TFSAs as you wish, just make sure not to go over your total contribution limit.
2. Nope unfortunately there isn't anything like this, but in Canada, as long as the platform you are using is registered under CIPF (Canada Investment Protection Fund) you'll be all good. Wealthsimple and TD are!

@@xoReni thanks for responding back, since last two years as a day trader, i noticed that US stocks are more volatile when its come to trading stock daily, but in terms of Canada TSX stocks its take a while to actually make your profit and go to the next stocks.
My question is now when you find stocks on Canada TSX do you rely the technical analysis, earnings report or look at the history of a stock before buy . But its is very difficult when a stock is new. Do rely on information and research before investing in them.
And wish investment app do you use to screen for stocks market.
@@akinze3244 Unfortunately I am a long term investor rather than a day trader. For all stocks I invest in I do extensive research before buying but again, I am holding for the long term. I recommend the Motley Fool as well as Google Finance for insights on the company as well as BNN for their analyst picks.

Yes you can invest in the Canadian and US markets but the accounts available to you in Nigeria may be different than rules here
