    So many people in the FinLit space say “Do your due diligence” before purchasing stocks but so rarely take the time to actually explain what that actual consists of. Thanks for this!

    Thanks for sharing. I use TD direct investing too and it’s very seamless to use. Most times i don’t go through the financials of the companies, I just check the dividend history of the stock and see what the latest news about the company is then I’d go from there. If I’m buying a lot of units I’d definitely go into more details though.

    • @xoReni
      @xoReni  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is fair! Often times I don’t go through all of the financials as well but it’s good to know that we can 🤍

    This is such a great video for beginners and those of us who need a refresh! The questions that you gave us in the beginning are a game changer because a lot of these companies look good in theory but the deep dive gives you so much more information. Great video as always Reni!

    Reni, i am curious. when you become a multi-millionare and have millions to invest in the market, would you hire a wealth management firm to invest for you or would you just invest in an index fund yourself?

    • @xoReni
      @xoReni  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is a great question! When that day comes I will use a one-time, fee-based wealth manager to get their professional opinion on how to structure my investments for tax purposes and to give their advice. However, for day to day management I believe I will still do it myself! Index funds and individual stocks for me 🥰 maybe Robo advisor too!
      I prefer fee based managers instead of assets under management wealth managers because you can use them just for the advice component.
