Hi guys! I just had to watch this video on the big screen. Not just for the epic cycling, but oh my god for a spectacular scenery and weather. I can not thank you enough for participating in your wonderful life journey.
Best one yet! Having race bicycles into my 60s, can’t wait to get this RV done and get back on the bike, at 86 though I’ve got a battery assisted bike, that I juiced up a bit with something I got from Czechoslovakia The only thing missing is one of those great cooking episodes, Beautiful👀
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Your an inspiration! Stay in touch. Maybe we can ride together sometime! More cooking coming soon. Hopefully an ocean catch and cook😉
@@CareyOnVagabond Don’t want to take up too much space, but if you going through orange county in California down through San Diego I might have some neat ideas for you, eats and biking. Lived there about 28 years, biked thousands of miles. Irvine, Dana Point, OceanSide, La Jolla, San Diego.
@@darrylmorris8477 thanks for the offer! We aren’t going to California this year but someday again. My sister lives in San Diego. We are a bit ahead of our TH-cam videos because we have so much footage lately. I just rode Crater Lake while it’s closed to cars. Amazing. Videos of that is probably a week or two out.
@@CareyOnVagabond very cool, looking forward to seeing it! I went over an 11K foot peak yesterday and drove through snow for the first time in about 15 years…Colorado spring is crazy.
We are heading to Utah in June by way of Grand Junction, CO by plane. Thanks to you guys we are going to take in the monument. Loved your vid! Thanks for taking us along!
Omg those views are out of this world. Can’t wait to visit one day. What’s the clearance on the tunnels. I have a motorhome . Pistol you smart stay in . Lol Many Blessings and love love your adventures 🥰🥰🥰
That was stunning. Thank you for sharing Mother Nature’s show. Have you considered doing a video on how to drive in the mountains? Do you downshift, run on normal shift or go to manual? Up and down. You know things that terrified me when driving in the West!. I would love to hear how you handle real mountains in your Promaster. Thank you for considering this. Carey On.
Beautiful scenery...I've lived in Colorado for 30 years, and I've never been to the Monument. I'm glad you guys went, cause I don't think I could drive that road...too scared. It was great seeing the bighorns...very cool. Thanks for ride!
I’m so proud of my state for being so gorgeous! 🤩 I’m going to have to go there one of these days. That was stunning. And yeah, Colorado weather be like that, lol. Crazy storms that arrive with little warning is a thing. 🤪
I have. Twice. Once for fun up and back down. Then about 8 years ago I raced the Cycle to the Sun bike race. It starts near the beach and ends at the summit at 10,023 ft! The Jersey I am wearing is from the race. Brutal race but amazing.
Thanks again. Yes, stunning. Great video of the tunnels and the panorama of the landscape. AC/DC - Thunderstruck (Official Video) - th-cam.com/video/v2AC41dglnM/w-d-xo.html

It’s quite a view!
Glad you liked the monument. We live in the small community above the monument.

It has been 30 years that we explored Colorado and you guys make us want to go back there soon, beautiful scenery!
I don’t think we scratched the surface of Colorado yet. Hope you guys are warm and well!
That was a killer bike ride! Beautiful scenery.
It was a great ride. Another epic ride coming up in one of the next few videos. Crazy scenery, more snow, and even higher elevation!🤔🤔🤔😎

That’s scenic in epic proportions! Great wildlife, too. Dan - Oklahoma’s Tumbleweeds

Loved this video (like all of them). When at 7:33 you said: "Stop. Big Horn Sheep", did you realized you are driving one?
This took me a second! 😂😂😂🙌🙌

This is pretty much in our backyard. We can see the Monument from our house. If you come back give us a shout. :-) Safe journeys.
Nice view to have! If you ever see us getting close, give us a shout!;)

Those views...thank you for sharing that! Did you all have internet at the camp spot?
Slow but not terrible with Verizon.
Looks amazing! I remember that movie - my sister & I loved it. Very cool to see the bighorn sheep and so close! What is the name of the campground?
Thanks! Saddle horn campground.
Hello
👋👋
Is your van living up to all you had hoped it would be? functioning just as you need it to?
It is. We hope to do some videos next month on what we’ve done to it and how things are working.
Have you ridden Mount Haleakala? I noticed the Haleakala on your bikeing t-shirt. We've always been tempted riding down from the top.
I have. Twice. Once for fun up and back down. Then about 8 years ago I raced the Cycle to the Sun bike race. It starts near the beach and ends at the summit at 10,023 ft! The Jersey I am wearing is from the race. Brutal race but amazing.
I figured that you had ridden up or ridden Mount Haleakala. You're the only person I know that's ridden from the beach up to the top.
Not right in the head some might say😜
@@CareyOnVagabond some scones might help.
Took 6 to ride to the top.
You mention campsite number 7, but which campground is it? I must have missed that.
Saddlehorn campground 😉👍
Pistol has her grumpy face on lol
She does!😂😂
Thanks again. Yes, stunning. Great video of the tunnels and the panorama of the landscape.
