The Lancashire and South Cumbria New Hospitals Programme is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform our region’s hospitals and reduce health inequalities for local people. We plan to develop new, cutting-edge facilities that offer the absolute best in modern healthcare and address significant problems with the ageing Royal Preston Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary buildings, with investment to improve Furness General Hospital.
