    I switched from the 4 point to 2 point because the 2 point rotation is supposed to allow your locs to have more volume. I wanted to make sure I get the most volume from my locs. I honestly don't see a difference with the 4 point and the 2point rotation on my hair.

    • @deegeorge5711
      @deegeorge5711 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      You will. As the loc gets older it will expand a little more . 2 point allows more expansion. 4 point very little expansion.

    Your hair is lovely! I did the DIY micro braids into locs. My hair was damaged.. so it was really thin at first. I'm a year in and it's thickening up pretty well. Great for being on the go with kids and comedy. I love it... best decision for me. Maybe I'll do a video one day.

    I love your hair! I have SL and to be honest I don’t know what she does to my hair! All I know is I love it and I’ll be locd 1 year next month. Thanks for explaining the difference between the rotation. I believe I get the 4 pt rotation and maybe it’s because my hair is so fine. The ends are still WAY curly and I don’t see them locing all the way to the ends no time soon! I love your channel and please continue putting out content! Your hairstyles are my favorite!

    Hello. I've watched this video several times. I have a loc specialist with whom I have several standing appt times through the end of the year. Well, I can't keep this appt, and she says that she doesn't know when she'll be able to get me back in. I think that I'm going to try it myself. My question is, how long does it take you to do yours? I'm thinking it's going to take me 4 days to do my own. Help!!! Anymore tops or suggestions outside of this video would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

    What’s the difference between from a 4 point or 2 point retie? It seems like the 2 point rotation is easier to grasp. Love your hair btw!

    • @afrikurl
      @afrikurl 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      The difference is is that with a 4 point rotation you go around all four sides of the square of the loc. A two point rotation only enters from one side and the top of the square. The result is that for a 4 point rotation makes the hair more compact and cylindrical. The 2 point rotation makes for a fuller fluffier loc. It is still cylindrical.
