After seeing what can she do, I'm really tempted to go for her, but I'm F2P and I'm guaranteed to get Nahida now, she is my number one priority right now. Will get her on her rerun, she seems to be a fun character to use.
Honestly she’s more of a rerun character because she doesn’t have much to make full use
go for nahida. archon kits are way more flexible for F2P players.
I'm kinda on the same page as I'm on my guaranteed and I don't want to spend any more money on Genshin but I genuinely think I'm gonna pull for Nilou. First, she's really pretty and her team as shown with this video is extremely F2P friendly. Second, Nahida is an Archon so she's definitely gonna have her rerun sooner. Look at all Inazuma 5* and the ones that already have reruns are Kokomi (which is a great enabler for Dendro reaction) and Raiden soon. Nahida might get a rerun as soon as 3.6 but Nilou might need to wait until like 3.7 or more, because we have so many 5* from the previous 3 regions that haven't got their reruns and there are still even more Sumeru 5* that are yet to be released.

Same here. I’m guaranteed and have only 80 pulls and I need Nahida. This video is tempting me to pull on her banner. I also have her weapon on Kuki now.
Wow! That Collei-DMC-Barbara-Nilou team is one of the most free to play friendly teams I've ever seen, and seems very high power for f2p artifacts and weapons.
I was shook that it actually finished 12-2 in ~20 seconds
Every character is literally guaranteed and free, except for Nilou of course. And you can also get C5 on Traveler as of right now. On top of that, all your trash HP artifacts, slap them on her and she's good to go
@@Gennosuke1983 I think kuki hyperbloom is better in terms of f2p friendlyness and kinda easy to build for a person that doesn't want to farm endlessly for crit rate and crit dmg. (I get it now)
She’s worth pull now. Just like Ayaka, Hutao who also… works only in one team.

i would say put Nilou in a showdown against Thoma and Kuki (or better 5 star variants) for burgeon, and hyperbloom comparisons respectively.
Hyper bloom is single target and much harder to proc. Burgeon is harder to proc and there is a chance of making burning instead. Its like comparing night and day
@@meowk123 kuki hyperbloom and thoma burgeon… how are they hard to proc? Just make the dendro cores then apply electro or pyro. Since kuki and thoma are the triggers build them as EM and the rest either regular or for something else.
@@meowk123 When using kuki the hyperbloom WILL proc every second. The problem with that team is actually not enough dendro/hydro in comparison with nilou team
I'm pleasantly surprised by her performance, only thing is the lack of crowd control is an issue I faced regularly. I hope we get some dendro Crowd control characters who could use vines or some sort of cage like dendro samachurl's ability
Yelan's E can do a little bit "crowd control" thing..
Honestly, I'd wait for Nahida's release to make her dps showdown.
I think you should compare her to other niche comps like full Geo Itto and full Cryo Shenhe's team.
I'd also like to know how she performs compared to a meta hyperbloom team (with Yae and Nahida) to see if her passive is really worth.
Finally, you could also compare her dps with an aoe specialized team, maybe Xiao, or International.
Maybe he can compare nilou to kuki hyperbloom right now, if it doesn't beat the most f2p friendly team i've ever seen then it's kinda over for nilou
@@JoseFerreira-nk5kq hyperbloom is mostly single target (very small aoe) while nilou's bountiful explosion is for mass mobs, i have watch many kuki hyperbloom and nilous dendro bombing is way faster even at f2p level (and that's even a trash team setup)
I'd say it'd be better to have a Nahida DPS showdown which compares various teams that include Nahida against each other, while having a showdown for Nilou with the characters currently available now. Multiple reasons for this:
1) It is better for IWinToLose, to get views by focusing on the new character now, rather than releasing content for the previous character later.
2) It'll be too late for people to use the info to decide whether or not to pull if the banner is gone.
3) Using the footage from the Nilou showdown and from the Nahida one, he can then make another short video that compares the two.
The characters also boring, imagine only applying elements and bloom doing the job lmao. Even characters such childe can done this
Also her kits is kinda weird, she scale on EM to do bloom, but her personal dmg and kit scales on HP. This will be counterproductive since you will have less damage in bloom if you use HP, but if you use EM you'll have less damage in her personal dmg

I like that Hoyo is making characters that kits make you able to use old characters that are labeled bad.
Barbara now can see the light of day, Dendro Traveler, Keqing, even Lisa, so I have no doubt we'll see characters in the future that helps improve Amber, Diluc, Ningguang etc.. I'm actually a bit excited to see what characters we get in the future..
My Boy Diluc needs some love. Can Vape/Melt but the dmg numbers are comparatively low

I've been using Barbara to destroy abyss 12 since Sayu came out. I think most people just aren't creative enough.
Diluc will probably need a pyro shenhe to help his low scaling but good dmg bonus and crit

I really thought she was going to need a lot of limited characters to run a good rotation (Kokomi, Nahida, etc.), but it looks like I was wrong!
Without Nahida (and her stupidly amazing Dendro application from the leaks...), you do need two Dendro Characters instead of just her.
Thankfully both DendroMC and Collei exist and they're both nice off field characters you get for free.
You then have one other slot which should go to Barbara since you will want a healer in your party and need more Hydro.
Works amazingly well with this F2P build as shown in the video.
Of course, the ideal whale team is Nilou for her cores and wet aura, Kokomi for better heals and no self wet with jellies applying wet, Yelan for off field single target damage, more wet and HP buff if c4, along with super speed E when needed, and finally Nahida with her broken no ICD Dendro application. Use Nahida as the on field character and those 3 will just be enough to cover Nahida barely for triggering the ridiculous amount of reactions with her marks, E itself and her NA's. Nahida in full EM will further buff the core explosions and allow Nilou to go full HP and not care about EM, as she won't be triggering the reactions. But of course this best team starts to feel more like a Nahida showcase, despite the cores being the biggest part of the damage. Nahida just enables it way to well.
I have Kokomi and im.going to pull mahida, so i think its a good idea get her in a rerun?
You underestimate the POWER of The Barbarian!
You do a great showcase on her f2p team. Yes, the abyss caters to her... but this is also before she gets better support characters and a dedicated artifact set and f2p HP% sword. Nilou has a very similar radius of damage and amount of knockback as an Itto team, and that is something I'm absolutely for. The lack of single target damage is to be expected and the aoe potential more than makes up for that weakness.
The difference is some of Nilou's best supports (Collei and DMC, the only 2 dendro supports rn and EM Barbara with her Bloom interaction) are completely F2P characters.
Even if the Abyss caters to her, the Abyss times are crazy considering we need 90 seconds per half for 9 stars and she even got 16 seconds in 12-3-1
what makes you think that she gonna get an artifacts set dedicated for her?
@@starvader6604 Hydro taking a full on HP identity and Fontaine being the next region, completely focused around Hydro's identity and bringing weapons, artifacts and an archon based around it. HP scalers are only going to get stronger as more options catered to them show up.
@@starvader6604 bc usually niche characters have an arti set that caters to them (xiao’s vermillion hereafter, itto/noelle/albedo with husk of opulent dreams, kokomi with ocean-hued clam, etc)
maybe you can put her up against hyperbloom kuki or burgeon thoma, tho idk if it's make sense because both of those are 4* characters, perhaps c0 nilou with up against c6 kuki or thoma to compensate it??
Edit: i suggesting kuki and thoma since both of them is really good on transformation dmg, since nilou build is focused on it too

I’ve tried all three team with nilou at c0. From my experience Thoma is pretty much unplayable while kuki is pretty good and nilou out performs her in most situations but if you get the weapon nilou would be way ahead

I expected to be really good in AoE but that's better than expected.
she's better in practice than in sheet.
Abyss blessing can be removed but Nahida comes next patch.
So her team should perform about as well here.
The current abyss rotation is just tailored for her, top halves of 12th floor are mobs that will run towards you and they often group together on their own without the need of using an anemo character, we will only see her true performance after the current abyss which heavily favors her, but she’s still a decent bloom team focused buff character regardless

"Pirouette" (which lasts 10s) is the stance she enters by using the ability. It's "Lunar Prayer" the one she enters when using normal attacks for her 3rd hit.

The only dissatisfaction on my part is the restrictive team comp, thus the lack of slot for anemo CC character. She's overall fun tho.
Ikr, they should have atleast left us pair Anemo and geo with Nilou, thus enhancing the support capabilities

Her teammate (barbara, Collei and dendro Mc) are all free to get and they work perfecly fine
later on you can upgrade her team with Kokomi and maybe Nahida but still, Barbara and Collei work fine with her
All you need to do is give her HP and call it a day while still getting a lot of damage

Hoyo seems to have gotten the hang of balancing the 5 stars they release. Another fun unit who performs well. I doubt the same will happen for the 4 stars since it seems like hoyo is using them to experiment with new ideas and concepts so unfortunately their performance will be unpredictable.
I think it’s predictable that they won’t ever PowerCreep Bennett Fischl Sucrose Xinqui and that’s over half the elements covered

The devs have already made it clear that there not gonna be any hard endgame content that needs the meta so having overpowered characters is kinda unnecessary.

I did try Nilou with an R1 lvl 60 Xiphos blade (uurrgghh not sure if I spelled it correctly), talent 1 , 8, 6 in flr 12 with Kokomi, Tighnari and Dendro Traveler. I was so surprised thet I cleared it so fast coz Im not still familiar with her kit and rotations and I underestimated her. This playstyle is unique. Lovin it now.
Everyone makes it seem like Kokomi is a must with her. This GIGACHAD rocking Barbara and doesn't give a damn. The whole community calls Nilou the most restrictive character dependent and expensive to build character. This, again, GIGACHAD throws in VERY F2P party setup and makes it look actually GOOD. not even decent. This looks VERY GOOD. Damn it, thank you for this video so much.

She really only works in bloom teams to get the best out of her kit.
@@aprentice.masters I get it and it's a fact, but she isn't bad outside those team comps. Like every other character, they can be used on different forms and that´s whats make this game so fun to me. Literally one character can fullfil different roles or playstyles depending on artifacts or team mates. May not be optimal, but it still being possible.

Cyno took 3 minutes to clear 12-3-1 which is the hardest chamber in this abyss. Nilou took 16 seconds with a 4 star team.
So sad that i have to skip her. I was dead set on getting her up until they announced Nahida on the next banner. Have to wait for the rerun now.

I just wanted to say, that iWinToLose does an amazing videos, the best from what i ve seen on YT on genshin. Information is great (and provided nicely), montage is great, jokes are great. it's simple: get nahida and wait for nilou rerun. Nilou with nahida will be like 3000% better but no one's got so much luck to get both.

For the showdown it can be done against kokomi at c0. I think thats realistically the best matchup
It makes me so sad because I want her really badly, her playstyle is just so pleasing to me, I always tend to love characters with rhythm to their gameplay.. but since I don't have a lot of characters that you'd ideally want with her, like Kokomi, and with so many other cool/good 5stars coming up I think it's better if I just keep saving
100% of Nilou teammates you get for free. Barbara, MC and Collei are all you need.
Don't feel forced to use Nilou with a C6 R5 Kokomi, C6 R5 Nahida and C6 R5 Yelan. It's not worth it.
He just showcased Nilou, with a full F2P team and build, they are all free except Nilou. And as a endgame player I am really impressed by the results. Only downside is the lack of single target damage but that's not Kokomi that will fix it.

just go for her, I played this game since beta and always went for the highest damage output possible and always f2p. the fact that you like her that much, then you must pull for her.
also your team is already out there with the least amount of investment needed:
barbara: free
MC: free
collei: free
also I'm almost sure that nahida(dendro archon) will have huge synergy with her and can stand in instead of collie.
Alternative option: like inazuma (2.0) characters she will definitely get a rerun in less than 6 months and if you are still not sure about pulling for her you can go for her rerun.
xingqiu with her is totally fine. i suggest u just go for her given your reasons
Go for her if you like her playstyle. Upcoming ones are bad. She even works with xingqiu and Yelan very well.
She's on a league of her own. I don't think she can be compared to others for dps showdown at the moment

I know double hydro now increases HP but I still found it interesting how the recent 5 stars hydro units Kokomi, Ayato, Yelan and Nilou all scale with HP.
i’m pretty sure hoyoverse is making hydro an HP scaling element - similar to geo and defense (and by extent anemo/dendro with EM)

You convienced me to pull for Nilou aaa, I’ve been wanting Childe for a long time since I joined on his 3rd rerun but lost the 5050. Hes coming up next patch in 3.2 and im at a loss on who to pull for. I’ll just hope I win the 5050 and have enough for him. I currently have 50+ wishes saved up with 60+ pity.

Characters with niche kits are always very interesting.
Although Nilou might not be the best, she's very unique overall and will probably be even better with Nahida
I believe, if you don't have a Hydro and a Dendro Character at the same time in party, you can't give the ring to other characters.

It would be interesting to see how she compares to hyperbloom or burgeon teams, hyperbloom could be a sucrose team and burgeon team that of tohma. It would also be interesting to see how she compares against childe/ayato in tazer and vaporize teams, and compared to like xingqui for freeze teams.

This is literally barbara EM showcase with Nilou as only passive abuse. I want to see Nilou's bloom damage as she the one who is making the bloom reaction and not barbara.....
That's how Nilou's team comps work, she isn't always going to be the trigger but building HP increases everyone's bountiful core damage
I think using the other hydro with em build will do more damage than hp Nilou idk
That's what I was thinking, I saw other TH-camrs using Nilou without Barbara in the team, didn't look as good. Maybe try a few team comps without Barbara or Nilou.
I'm glad she's OP when you put her with dendro team, in fact her kits itself is for dendro x hydro team. I was worried when i got her and immediately raise her to 90 lvl full talent 10/10/10 with her signature weapon but she deal less dmg than i expected. But that was because i didn't know how she works. Good thing i raised both Collei and Dendro traveler to the max so now i can finally put them to use
