+AdmiralAwesomm Wrong on all accounts. 360 was great but the fist ones came with way too many problems. Heck the Xb1 is way better than 360 bro. It goes like this in my opinion. Wii, Xb1, PS2, PS1, Xbox Classic, and then Xbox 360. The 360 would be the 6th greatest console of all time in my opinion, but of course that's just me and of course the 360 would probably be your greatest console. Anyways what am I talking about it's all subjective anyways lol.

only 33, but i like to build up collections, every Silent Hill game on there, Gran Turismo & Ace Combat titles. Sometimes it's really hard to find that last game in the collection.

To be fair, Team Ninja gave Playstation owners a taste with Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Sigma Plus.
Honestly it was the best decision. Ninja Gaiden is beautifully done for the xbox hardware.

Koolcypher you can't buy a PS2 from a big store anymore unless it's an d gaming store that sells those types of games or like a gaming café. Those sell old consoles. The ps2 has left the market from big stores.

PlayStation 2 is the greatest system ever created hands down. Sales, games, groundbreaking graphics, library of games,out the box backwards compatibility. No other system can compete with those stats
Arguably the greatest console of all time. I remember wanting one so bad but my dad had just bought me a Dreamcast a few months prior. I bet on the wrong horse lol.

Too bad the TT footage was quite choppy. Luckily the full game instead runs at circa 60fps as we all know, and it's not only smooth but also very fast (especially the japanese version because it lacks the software antialiasing of the western releases).

The PS2 was a beast. I have an old game magazine from this time and it had an interview with George Lucas. He said the PS2 could render things faster and more powerful then the computers used to make the "phantom meance" movie. No Joke, it was classified as a super computer then for it's processing according to the magazine. It was also one of the first DVD players to let you play audio CDS too. All that and backwards compatible and cheaper then a DVD player at the time. Even today still a rugged machine that holds up. Still a beast as far as I'm concerned

I love the PS2, but boy was it prone to breaking. I had two of them personally and everyone else I know replaced their PS2 at least once. My very first PSOne is still standing strong to this day by comparison.
Still love the PS2 though, and always will.

i think its funny because the PS2 was so weak that launch games pretty much looked the same towards the end of the PS2s life.
TimeSplitters, Ridge Racer V, and FIFA 2001 didn't looked bad.

those games came out toward the end of the ps2, and they looked amazing at the time, IMO. sure i only named 4 games but you claimed the every ps2 game had the same amount of graphic detail/fidelity, which is not true at all.
and the first Xbox?
