You guys are true South African, and I'm 100% support all efforts doing despite hatred pose by so-called politicians and others dividing people on regards Springbok issue.
Are you okay? Vite for them at your own peril and say bye bye to Western Cape. The zionists ate working so hard to get it seperated from south Africa. Meaning you will need a passport going there , if they would even allow you in. Stop!
Between 4 and 31 December 2023, the officers arrested 1 103 individuals for various crimes, while confiscating 15 firearms. LEAP, which stems from the Western Cape Safety Plan(WCSP) is an initiative of the Western Cape Government(WCG) in partnership with the City of Cape Town(CoCT).
Capetonian here born and bread, moved to E Cape, recently visited CT for first time in 3 years. Sad to see the city has not cleaned up non tourist busy spots around train station, and between adderley street and buitenkant. Dangerous areas to be walking. Was followed 3 days ago by police car who had either forgot to turn lights on or were trying to intimidate me at 10pm by not having lights on right behind me. Then pulled up next me at the lights and all 3 in vehicle gave me the once over and made my 11 year old very very nervous. I had not been drinking and was not impressed and stared back. They turned tt at lights at bottom of buitenkant and turned their lights on. Couldn’t wait to get back home. Not impressed. We going downhill fast.
Sir i recently walked down round signal hill past some old military bunkers . Such a beautiful walk I just think attention needs to be given to the area it has a lot of potential.
Thank God, it's about time, I had an incident in de Waterkant over New Year 2 yrs ago, I was mugged by two foreign nationals. I think because of Covid there was not much security. Protect your investment TOURISM, people need to feel safe. Thank you x
DA dont taget foreigners but criminals this blame game works for ANC , so many tourist have been killed by south Africas in Langa , cape flats is full of criminals and they are not foreigners
What physical activity did some of those 130kg members pass ? They can’t even walk in a straight line. Referring to the police, not the strapping mayor
Rather off topic, we all know that's a completely separate issue. And in any event, why would tourists want to see areas where people live ? There are no attractions in most suburbs, therefore zero appeal.
Seriously? To protect the Tourism industry? Sometimes us who are born, bred and lived our whole lives here dont even feel safe to more than half of the places we used to go to like even just 10years ago.... Dont forget to sweep infront of your own door first....
SAPS and South African Justice System are a failed system. Atleast I see more law enforcement officers patrolling and working in my community compared to SAPS.
I, myself would never be interested to go places that need heavy security. I don't know why there's so much security needed there. The world is effed up now. I guess they have to look at the root of the problem. People don't live in Freedom anymore
Clean up the roads full of homeless people. Have you seen the state the castle is in? And in Sunningdale homelessness is escalating at a worrying rate. Illegal homes popping up everywhere in the area.
Sorry to hear your MEC in the Eastern Cape wants to buy a 60million rand helicopter but you guys don't have fire trucks . Wish people will start voting for intelligence and competence instead of race .
It’s safe just don’t play with the beach sand, it’s riddled with human 💩 also the beaches. Also the bushes. Actually the entire place is a human toilet. But you can drop a squat in public in safety. Milestones. It use to be health and safety now it’s just safety. Viva.
And all South Africans should have food and shelter but yes let's focus on tourism. You o ly want to feed your own agenda and pockets. You not folling anyone.
Much like how you actually need to focus on hotspoyts of crime in the province and we all know the locations, Facrerton, Grassy Park, Mitchell's plain. First reduce crime for our people wtf you celebrating for continuous nights of crime? And then their is traffic cops who are increasing not the real cops who need to police hotspot gun violence areas. But hey they are just too poor to influence the DA's decision making capabilities or is it some other matters?
Why do you want Cape town 2 be on its own, please answer us you dividing the city from other provinces, you not wise DA this is a new South Africa what are you trying to do,or you want Cape town only for White people only, that is how we see it as other people in South Africa and Cape Town
Is there any extra officers deployed in your gang ridden areas or high crime rate areas? Or only for tourists? Or you installing more shot spotters to stop crime lol
Most of the officers are looking in shape 👍🏽👌🏾

Cool, good governance, little or no corruption, working for the city. DA Mayer. switched on.
Little or no corruption?
Do you live in the clouds?
Thank you, thank you. We so appreciate your hard work and diligence
80 extra officers won't make a mammoth difference ,but it's the gesture that counts...it's the fact that they want to make visitors feel safe...👏🏼👏🏼

Great job, what about protecting communities on the cape flats from gangs, oh I forgot there’s no tourism there.

Very valid point. but tourism is MAASSIVE for our economy and cannot be understated. More tourists, more jobs, more money, more investments.
