Great tutorial, I hardly play modded and found it very useful. I'm playing on the Karma modpack and since I don't have any xp grinders built I decided to try crafting my enchanted books for the magical wood. I crafted four Flim Flam I books (book and 1 emerald) and using those nets 17 magical wood!

Great video, you could have pointed out that a trash bin on top of quarry + filter will take priority over your tessarect, this way you can filter what you want locally :)

Actually the better the enchants on the books used to make magical wood the more wood you get. You can also use armour and tools that are enchanted in a similar way. Other than that you covered everything extremely well. - GG

You do miss to mention the fact that it uses an absolute crapton of power to run. Each upgrade providing a power multiplier needed. Diamond Speed upgrade for instance adds a x8 multiplier to the power drain. This is all assuming it hasn't been changed recently. :D Haven't played any updated packs since reformating my pc.
good video very helpful for ender quarries. the whole reason im here is because in my version of the crack pack im playing there seems to be a bug with normal quarry that if for example i make a 9x9 chunk marked with land markers and use a normal quarry the quarry for whatever reason if its in the mining world won't load itself. idk why. idk if it works in the overworld i never tried but the basic size quarry worked fine. but ender quarry is wayyyyy better.
It would be awesome if World hole upgrade would change it going from "top to bottom" mining to "left to right", because in that case I could use it to build a hole for my base...
I'm on this crazy craft server and it has an ender quarry but no energy cell so i don't know how to power my ender quarry because once i click it again ti says "0 blocks scanned"
make sure you put your markers down (ender markers only, 5:51) and that they have the purple lines (5:56) then slap the quarry and see if it gives you a message. if it looks like everything is fine I would check that power is actually getting into the quarry block (e.g. space it 1 block away, put a power line and check that the line is getting power)
See that's the problem with modded minecraft these days .... seriously.... this is so ridiculously easy, it has no challenge in it. Put a tesseract and a black (with a few other blocks) and BANG - everything. Isn't it more fun to pump oil - refine it to fuel - power combustion engines, and manage their hear to power a BC quarry, load trains with items and bring them back that way to your base, then have to clean up liquids with a pump (or by placing blocks with a filler). I see the second option MUCH more appealing. If there is someone out there who agrees - BRAVO. You are not spoiled by the EASINESS of modded minecraft these days !
I just set one up tonight. Probably the easiest way is to use a big reactor from the big reactors mod. My 5x5x5 reactor I just built outputs roughly 4,800 rf/t and can handle silk touch and a speed 1 upgrade on the quarry.
+Lewis Ufton (Pokeboy392) Haha. You just need a total of 12 yellorium fuel rods and 4 control rods and place them in a diamond shape. More fuel rods = more rf/t!
endo thermal pump in a nether lake with a tesseract and a magmatic dynamo to auto sustain the pump. then send all the power and liquid trough the tesseract to your base where you can have lots of magmatic dynamo and gg ez
This is so OP it's not even funny. Incredibly cheap crafting recipe that probably isn't affected by GregTech, Silk Touch so you no longer have to keep an eye out on your quarry to get ruby and iridium ore blocks, and a ridiculous size because who cares about balance? hahaha
