• Idli Rice or Any Raw Rice - 1 cup
• Tuvar Dal - 1/2 cup
• Chana Dal - 1/2 cup
• Moong Dal - 1/4 cup
• Urad Dal - 1/4 cup
• Dry Red Chillies - 3
• Cumin - 1 tsp
• Fennel - 1/2 tsp
• Black Peppercorns - 6 to 7
• Water
• Onion - 1 large
• Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
• Salt to Taste
• Curry Leaves
• Oil / Ghee for Frying
