The onl thing I dislike in these movies is that the BPRD operating in an alternative universe where the existance of the supernatural isn't a secret. But if Del Toro going to direct a MIB movie, I would love to see that!

i just realized that hellboy, abe, krauss and liz represent the 4 elements: hellboy is earth: stubborn and unmoving, liz is ,well, fire: passionate but can easily loose control of herself but earth can help control fire, abe is water: works with the personalities of other like how water takes the shape of what ever is holding it, and krauss is air: always moving and energetic but fuels fire and wears down earth through erosion
this is gonna be a stretch but tom might be void: empty and shapeless (personality wise)

These movies contain more creativity than the whole Marvel universe. Better characters, better story, better effects. And the production design is freakin' awesome. Guillermo del Toro is a genius - I would have loved to see his final version of "The Hobbit".

They had such a good ending and understanding seemingly in the first then right back to contentious in the 2nd movie.
