I love how In the second version of the commercial seen at the beginning of this video at the end of it they advertised the sega Saturn and game gear version's even though the version relased on the game gear is just called sonic blast rather then sonic 3d blast nevertheless I do appreciate how it was mentioned in that second commercial along with the sega Saturn version of it as well

No its not. Sonic 3D Blast released in Japan 3 years after the NA release. Sonic was unpopular in Japan, so they only brought over the game in 1999, during Dreamcast era. Of course, in JP people were not buying Megadrive games in 1999
