I kinda never understood Cassadee Pope going on the Voice when she was already pretty successful with her band Hey Monday (check them out btw). It was good for her and I hope that Country was what she really wanted to pursue. She already knew how to sing and had a stage presence so it almost seemed a little unfair imo ^^; Glad she became successful :)
That Caleb guy literally sounds like the guy from Creed, he would've fitted much better in the early 2000s post grungy/alternative era. But maybe him joining the Trans-Siberian orchestra is success to him, that's not something to downplay
I feel in pop music the general public doesn't really care if you can sing and these shows emphasize singing skills so like when these winners drop music it seems like they are emphasizing their vocal skills because that is essentially what made them win the show but as I said before that the general public doesn't really care if you can sing so they tend to flop... hopefully that makes sense LOL

The clips of Carrie and Kelly were from the finale, so yeah, they were super nervous. I think that clip of Carrie was even from after they announced she won. They have this really fun way of making them sing right after they find out they won, so they're super emotional and crying, but still have to sing well lol. Plus, they were the songs written for the winner (and were performed and recorded by both finalists), not songs they actually chose to sing. Ie. Not necessarily the best song for their voices.

I did a little research for little mix: (this is going to be a long one, since little mix deserves more appreciation.) they were the first group ever to win x-factor in 2011, which is already quite impressive. Only one man group named Rak-su have won after that 6 years later in 2017. In 2011, four girls auditioned. Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards. Jade and Leigh-Anne were in a different group with two other girls, same as Jesy and Perrie. They didn't make it to the judge's houses and were eliminated. Kelly Rowland wanted to mix the group members, and so little mix was formed. they werere called 'rhythmix' , but faced some issues with the name since the name was already taken by a children's charity. So, they came up with 'Little Mix'. In 2013, two years after they won, they got a record deal in Syco Columbia Records, Simon Cowell's record label. This ended up badly as Columbia did not promote their songs in the US, and that's why their popularity has not reached America as far as it could have. They were told to 'flirt with influental people' to get their songs played on the radio, despite Syco having connections and being able to work that shit out. They were also overworked for years. It was the same cycle: record an album, go on tour, start recording a new album again. Three days after their album LM5 was released in 2018, Little mix split from Syco, thank god for that. They work currently at RCA Records, a record label under Sony Entertainment. Though they do not promote their songs either, they still seem to treat them better. They have 6 studio albums: DNA (2012), Salute (2013), Get Weird (2015), Glory days (2016), LM5 (2018), Confetti (2020) + in November 12th of 2021 they will release their 7th studio album called 'Between Us'. The album will contain some of their old hit songs from the past, and also couple of new ones . In december of 2020, Jesy Nelson left Little Mix to focus on her mental health. In October she became a solo artist and released a song called 'boyz' featuring Nicki Minaj. From the music video Jesy faced backclash from her fans, and the former band member, Leigh-Anne Pinnock. She was accused of blackfishing and using black stereotypes on her music video. Fans have been confronting her on social media for years now, but now everything is resurfing as people look deeper. There is a lot more to this story of course, but you can find it all if you google it. This is not meant to shade on Jesy or anything like that, but right now it's the situation. Let's wait until November 12th mixers!!!

I did a little research for little mix:
(this is going to be a long one, since little mix deserves more appreciation.)
they were the first group ever to win x-factor in 2011, which is already quite impressive. Only one man group named Rak-su have won after that 6 years later in 2017.
In 2011, four girls auditioned. Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards. Jade and Leigh-Anne were in a different group with two other girls, same as Jesy and Perrie. They didn't make it to the judge's houses and were eliminated.
Kelly Rowland wanted to mix the group members, and so little mix was formed. they werere called 'rhythmix' , but faced some issues with the name since the name was already taken by a children's charity. So, they came up with 'Little Mix'.
In 2013, two years after they won, they got a record deal in Syco Columbia Records, Simon Cowell's record label. This ended up badly as Columbia did not promote their songs in the US, and that's why their popularity has not reached America as far as it could have.
They were told to 'flirt with influental people' to get their songs played on the radio, despite Syco having connections and being able to work that shit out. They were also overworked for years. It was the same cycle: record an album, go on tour, start recording a new album again.
Three days after their album LM5 was released in 2018, Little mix split from Syco, thank god for that. They work currently at RCA Records, a record label under Sony Entertainment. Though they do not promote their songs either, they still seem to treat them better.
They have 6 studio albums: DNA (2012), Salute (2013), Get Weird (2015), Glory days (2016), LM5 (2018), Confetti (2020) + in November 12th of 2021 they will release their 7th studio album called 'Between Us'.
The album will contain some of their old hit songs from the past, and also couple of new ones .
In december of 2020, Jesy Nelson left Little Mix to focus on her mental health. In October she became a solo artist and released a song called 'boyz' featuring Nicki Minaj. From the music video Jesy faced backclash from her fans, and the former band member, Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
She was accused of blackfishing and using black stereotypes on her music video. Fans have been confronting her on social media for years now, but now everything is resurfing as people look deeper.
There is a lot more to this story of course, but you can find it all if you google it. This is not meant to shade on Jesy or anything like that, but right now it's the situation. Let's wait until November 12th mixers!!!
