People bash spacers but I've drag raced with them without issues... they have to be hub centric to hold the load of the truck. The studs don't hold the load the hub does. Cheap spacers aren't hub centric to fit alot of different vehicles... pay the money for some good ones and you won't have failures.
Nice Vid Bud. Thanks for the information. I’m in need of the the spacers for the rear of my 2008 Silverado as I have the exact same issue going on here. Thanks again.
FYI, most tires that come off are always on the drivers side of the car (american). It's because of the direction of the way we tighten bolts. "Righty-Tighty" means that if all your lug nuts are loose while traveling down a road, your passenger side lugs will tighten themselves up a bit whole the driver side ones are, little by little, loosening themselves. It's just physics but in MUCH older cars they reversed the threads of the driver side wheel bolts. They stopped because we're too stupid apparently to remember that driver side needs to be tightened the opposite way. *The more you know, the more you suffer🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠*
save your legs and back some pain, since you have that nice chair to sit in. take the wheel while sitting in the chair roll the tire onto you feet then lift the tire with your feet. I've been working on cars for 31 years that's how I do it with all tires never had a back issue ever. great video nice truck too.
It takes that long to get them because they order them from China .they re packages and stamp the bora logo on them and resale them to you as American made for $280+ dollars and they probably payed 40 our 50 dollars for them you can trust nobody wen it comes to buying spacers , that’s the reason it takes to sow long to get them I know I purchased a set and they left a shipping invoice from China in the box
if you didn't put anti seize on those spacers the nthey will never ever come off, and I really hope you torqued them to the recommended amount and didn't just impact them on.
I have a question have you had any issues with the spacer's on the road like highway driving I am looking at getting some for my truck and I am on the highway alot sometimes for trip from Pennsylvania to North Carolina was wondering how safe those would be on a long road trip like 600 to 700 miles one way
I have an 09 silverado and it has a 2 1/2 in leveling kit in the front. I wanna put spacers in the front. I wanna know if itll fit and wont rub.. i want about 2in spacers in 4 wheels....
@@croomrider9785 ok. Mine took like four days to get from eBay. Since it said they had more, and since it didn’t take any extra time, I assumed they were already stocked. They must have just really been quick on it 😂
my family rides in our lifted truck and I'm not taking a chance going 70mph and losing a tire. I say fuck it and let the front stick out more and I actually like the look
Whatd all youall torque your lugnuts too? I torqued mine down to 140 ft/lbs but that seems WAY too damn high but it was what the owners manual said for my 99 z-71. So what did all you all torque too???
I am new to the aftermarket scene. When I research 2 inch spacer (Bora) they look way thinner than what I see in this and other videos. But the adapters appear to have the same look that I see in “wheel spacer videos”. I don’t quit understand.
i have a silverado 4x4 2005 no lift kit whit sone rims 20 and tires size 275 60r20 ther truck look good bt i wass thinking if i can put some wheels spacer whit out fu king shit up in my truck can some give a good advice?
bowtieguy97 bad ass brotha. I'm thinking about getting some. I just lifted my truck and I'll be having a video about in a few weeks. Any ways I'm just trying to find a good spacer. lol don't want my wheel falling off.
The company that makes then does it by order, they don't stock them.. They might stock 2inch spacers more than them ones.. U probably shout have went the full 2 inches

I gotta tell you......ur truck is Sharp! I really admire how nice you keep it. Much respect 👍
I really hope I didn't just see you tighten those spacers down in a circular pattern instead of a star pattern.
i guess I am pretty randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to stream new series online?
@Jeffrey Hezekiah I watch on Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Maddox Tyson yea, I have been watching on Flixzone for since april myself :D
Not even that, I thought he was about to take a nap when he went to put the tire back on lol

The reason it’s different is because the off track is 68.6” front and 66” rear. 2.6” overall difference and 1.3” per side on the rear.

Did a really good job of explaining what to do 👍🏽
Great video just got my 2” bora wheel spacers for 8 lug GM! Oh and nice wheels by the way I have the same with black center caps from Custom Offsets.
Hey man, did you ever run into any issues with the spacers? would you recomende them for long term use?
Looks great man. I️ told you that you would like the bora spacers
They don’t make the spacers till you order them thats why they take so long. Waiting on mine now

I wonder how 2 inch spacers will look on my stock wheels?

The hunters slayers Animal savers what store from china
It's probably true. I ordered the spacers at the beginning of covid and it took just about 2 months to get them in.

It’s a good thing that two years later they come off just fine cause I’m not idiot. Thanks bro

Nice truck bro! Love the Mavericks, have the same wheels on my ram only in the black and machined version! 👊🤟
Nice truck! Were u aftermarket wheels sitting on the on the hub centric lip of the spacer?? Or the center bore of your aftermarket was wider??
what size are your rims?
Question? With this spacer, Can puller trailer with 1 ton & 1/2 weight?
How do you know what size spacer to get to match front
Do the spacers come with the bolts to mount on to your lugs
Would anyone happen to know where I can find a pair of 2 inch spacers for a silverado 1500 that arent bora ??
Poking way out on the pass side. Iykyk

Vortex MAX huh? Does it really have the LQ9 6.0L?

you do realize borla spacers are custom made right? that's why they took so long they have to make them just for you when you buy them
They’re not custom made lol. There are shops that stock them
@@HH-zi5ih no they aren’t, bora are made to order.

What wheels and size?
its been some time since the video came out and was wondering how are the spacers holding up?
Great, not a single problem so far.
What size are your wheels?
Where did you get your 0.25" wheel spacer at?

What about pulling a trailer
Have you had any problems with the spacers?
Paul Hankosky nope not yet, got about 1,000 miles on them now

tankdog03 you should do a walk around on your truck looks clean.
Did you have a hub ring
You don’t need hub rings for a hub centric spacer.
Lol, you do if your aftermarket wheel has a bigger center bore.
steel or aluminum spacer?
Aluminum
What size wheel do youhave?
20x10 -19 offset
I ordered mine over a month ago, and still no spacers
Bora spacers are made to order, thats it why it took 3 weeks.
No disrespect but are you afraid of getting dirty?...that blanket though
If you think I’m afraid to get dirty go watch some of the newer LS build or swap videos 😂
Thats real safe having a jack and stands sitting on grass lol. Wow smh
2"
What size wheels do you have?
