I have a 6160. When I first ran my machine, it was herky jerky and very difficult to run smooth. I figured out you can adjust your control stick sensitivity and “run in” and “run out” time all from the control screen. Also you can select 6 speed or 9 speed to adjust distance between gears for operator preference. Pretty happy with mine so far. Soon to be deleted and tuned to 200hp.
Man this isn’t really related to this video but thank you for all the 3rd gen and general dodge stuff. I’ve got an 06 I’m gonna completely redo everything and make my tow rig! It’s my first dodge!

Yeah I had the engineers build me new controls so I can run whatever I want.. basic software programming.. they said soon it will be operator availability on the control screen.. that would be nice I can't wait
It has 6 speeds/gears and not hydro drive? That is what surprised me. There is more to a "one arm". Vertical, horizontal and torsional rigidity. The arm needs to be 3X stronger, including all the mounting points to the frame. I'm sure they have done all their math, that is one sturdy arm to handle all that! With 2 sides you could reduce weight and mass. That is likely the reason for 2 sides on most other machines. The 1 arm option is likely $$ to manufacture!! 8) Peace --gary

That machine is sweet
Pretty impressive specs!
6000psi hydraulics
525ftlbs torque
Less then 15k weight.
NICE!
No body ever questions a telehandler having one arm. Why worry about this?
I was thinking before you found the bad idler of how that under carriage was going to hold up especially the rubber tracks under that size of machine.
Funny..u said it's a trip...I get it... I felt the same way on the 175😂..
Still love the 175...But the 6160 is a tool..Power...
Get review Sam...!

That’s a bad ass machine. Will it take standard skidsteer quick attach or is it overbuilt for bigger stuff?
Standard hitch
That things a beast!
