Turned out pretty good at the end. Definitely a good truck to have a little fun with, put it to work and not worry much about damaging a super expensive low mile version.
Great job! This is awesomeness on so many levels. Fixing the old stuff, especially keeping work trucks on the road, keeps them from being a part of the waste stream. It's truly the greatest impact we as humanity can have on saving the planet is to fix and maintain our old everything as long as you can...
I have a silver 05 6 speed CCLB with a flatbed that I just bought a few months ago and been working on cleaning up and turning it into my new daily. This video gives me so much hope.
Awesome work man happy to see this truck come to life, inspires me to rebuild these old trucks over here in the northeast but I’ll be dealing with the rot battle everytime
Good job on saving that truck Sam. Made for a cool video that I’ve been waiting to see. Glad you stuck it out till the end and didn’t give up. Hard works pays off.
Very nice work as always 👍 I put a flatbed on my 18 manual cummins and I wired it to be plug in play with the trailer plug in to lol. With mine i had a second trailer plug for the inside of my box :)
Epic work, Sam! Who needs doors anyways? They just rust out! My question is if the 3/4 doors bother anyone else? To me, they just look so awkward! They are too small to be a full door, but too big to be an extended cab. Just one of my many pet peeves! How much can she tow? Cheers! GP
I like the way all your trucks sound .... like a diesel like there supposed to... I just bought a 2010 3500 diesel but its so quiet cant even hear the turbo when i drive .. what can I do to make it sound like it's supposed to ? Any help i appreciate...

love vids where we can see man at work without too much blabla😘
Good job on having your son out there. Getting him excited about trucks now is the right move.
Great video! Just bought an 05 as my first diesel and enjoy watching your videos to learn more about these 3rd gen’s. Great content as always!

I dunno if I'm in the minority, but I really like seeing the little details and small things done.
love the vids man keep it up
Thanks, will do!
I'm a huge fan of the bubble headlights on the 3rd gens. I'll be in the market for a 2500 or 3500 soon
Been waiting for this one!👍🏼
Another Vbelt video! Awesome 👍🏻
Thanks again!

Hey Sam, you are meticulous when it comes to fixing trucks. Its good to see. Would you ever put a 5.7 Hemi in a late 70s or early 80s Dodge?
I have a 6.4 hemi I plan on putting in my 70 charger. I definitely like the idea of

Heck yeah brother 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Thank you!
I love your 3 Gen Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel Long Bed Quad cab Truck V- Belt And Son love Silver color
Injectors direct. I sense a future video of you replacing failed injectors. Again
Good truck to try them out on. Worth a shot
My old man replaced his 2006 truck injectors with new Bosch units from injector direct couple years ago, so far he’s had no problems
They seem fine
looking to get my first diesel truck and i am thinking about a cummins. what is a reasonable price for a good work truck?
If my son was a little older he would probably buy it
I can tell you right now that truck is no longer owned by him 😉 and he has 1.25 new trucks for it
The sweaters aren't on the site😢
Saving that truck was probably more cost-effective than buying a brand new one altogether?
@@goat4298 buying a new one would have cost 6 times more than saving this one cost. A lot of work but worth it I’d say
Are there flatbeds built specifically for 1/2 tons? I have a '98 dodge gasser 4x4 i want ro put one on.
I doubt it. But any flat bed for the bed length and width should fit your truck
Hey bro , New York or wherever u got to fix em all. lol 👍🏻
I’m trying to save them all! 🙌🏻
I'd be proud to own that silver streak.
Silver is a pain, you have to pretty much paint the whole truck if you want it to match
@@codytoole8359 it's not a showroom, brand new truck. And who is gonna notice? Seems like you're being kinda petty.
Ya know the paint on the cab could have faded over the years and the fresh paint on the bed just throws it off 🤷🏻♂️
Possibly. But the cab had a respray at some point
