Who else clicks thumbs up before watching cos you know it’s fire 🔥
not me, I always check what's in the box :D
Good to see some real tradesmen at work it’s a pleasure
Love the wee trick with the sticky tape. 👌🏻👌🏻🇮🇪🇮🇪🙌🙌
What trick
Great to watch a video not about current events. Keep safe.
gorgeous! I wish more builders in the states did stuff like this.
There would be plenty i recon you just have to find them. It's not rocket science even though they do a fine job.
First video I google to show my husband how I want plywood ceilings, and it's perfect! What a great instructional video.
That's a job made possible with a track saw! The edges look great!
another great work by two skilled craftsmen
Double compound miter cuts with a perfect fit, you got some skills there. I would have tried to cut that it 10-15 times before I gave up.
Damn dude you killed it.
Great craftsmanship and equally great videography
your new bench looked like it held up pretty well. i like how you include the relationship with the pets in your videos. i always find it fun to get to know the pets of the houses i work at : )
In Canada we have to use a 6mm or thicker plastic sheet over the insulation for vapor and moisture barrier, making the plywood seams a little more trickier then just painting the rafters black. I'm actually doing this to my sunroom next spring, so in my case I'm going to use a natural wood strip over each seam (although I could paint those black for a little accent pop). Great video, thanks.
An idea to consider would be to follow up on the poly and tack up black landscaping fabric instead of paint.
@@brenthemmett7147 Hmm, good idea. cheers
Love the detail of marking the overlap and also subtracting the desired gap and cutting the straight edge 🤙🏻🤙🏻
finally you have sponsor!!!
Yeah! cheers mate
Lo-fi music was made for your videos, compliments your editing and style. Great content. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Real neat/clean look. I like it. Thanks for the post.
cordless planer looks so good
Great video, and a really nice job on the ceiling turned out beautiful bought the Makita 36v rear handle saw today after seeing your video review of it hope i get it with all the disruption going on these days, and i hope Makita are being kind to you, bought it on Amazon UK great price ,hope your uncle Sandy is keeping well....but can he hang a door Scott.....best line ive ever heard. class act ....keep up the good work
haha cheers mate! good saw that
A thing of beauty. Great job
Looks great, as does all your work. Great video as usual. I just wish we had your weather!
I have said before NZ has shit weather, it rains all the time and it cold and windy most ofton. Australia is the land of good weather even though we have had a drought for a while but nearly broken its back.
Much love from Scotland Scott
Love plytech, doing my kitchen in it post lock down! Great vid!
I'm a remedial massage therapist and dog person so this episode is extra awesome! I'm a hobbyist DIYer and want to make a wall or ceiling like this one day thanks to you :)
"could you choppy chop that?" 🤣 Love it.
Great job. And as always your video is so pleasantly light.
New tube of glue right at the end - I hear you! Like being one barrow short of concrete. Nice job!
Poetry in motion fellas
what a beautiful ceiling!
Agree with you Plytech are great suppliers. Really like the shadow effect.
Always a pleasure mr brown
확실히 전문가들이 하는 디테일이 다른긴 하네. 합판만으로도 겁나 고급지게 인테리어를 완성하는구나. 멋짐~
Beautiful finish guy's..
Nice work gentleman! That finished product looks awesome.
Well done guys. That is not an easy job even though you made it look easy. Quality work.
That's a good surface to fix the plaster board to 😁
This is easily my favourite thing I’ve seen you done yet, so simple yet so beautiful in a way, nice work
Definitely not simple with all those angles but yes very nice
Hey mate, awesome channel.
I’m glad that you’ve got a sponsor, the time that you put into it and the value you add, you should be rewarded😊
I look forward to the new videos, great work mate👍🏻
Very nice guys
You should do a video strictly on how you cut those compound miters so good.
You sure made Plytech look good
looks amazing 👍👍👍👍and ask Gaston to sponsor a 18ga nailer next week. 🤣🤣🤣 you might like it better.
Amazing result. Top quality lines and totally symmetrical 👍
Lovely work guys the nd result looks classy. The guy in white t shirt helping you looks like my old friend Barry
Put hinges on the pieces that come out on the work bench so you can just fold them out whenever you need a bigger work bench and fold them in to make it smaller to fit in the van
Dam I was just thinking that 🤔 I also use an 8 x 4 sheet of 9mm OSB so i don't cut into my table 🙂
Wow I didn’t think it would look that good but with lights and fan that is a stunning fit out and the detail looks awesome bro
these plywood panel ceilings are really growing on me. You two definitely have your system dialed in. Nice work!
Looks stunning!
Another classy video thanks Scotty
2:22 your best helper ever!!!
Work of art
The ceiling looks great @scottbrown, from a UK carpenter! 👍🙂
Great Job, LOVE IT
that is a beautiful ceiling. and it feels custom too!
That looks really sweet!
It wouldn't be the same if you didn't have to open another tube of glue. I know the feeling!
That looks absolutely beautiful.
Solid job boys, those negative details are well done 👍👍
Lovely job done
Cheers from France
It looks brilliant.
Very nice work. Stay safe.
Nice work. I saw your one of your vlog on TH-cam a month ago and I really enjoy watching them.
It's jobs like this you'd be LOST without a tracksaw! How else would you get excellent cuts on more than one edge? Just watching this make me want to buy one.
I enjoy your channel love construction home improvements and of course electrical since I am a electrician
Very nice boys
Absolutely superb! Many thanks for sharing.
Absolutely mint bro 😊
Nice work. Stay safe down there.
sooo so good.
I’m currently doing this to my place. It’s looking fantastic!!!

Holy moly, 123k subscribers. I remember when you were giddy at 1000 lol
I am on the same page, i was in the 300's haha, certainly puts the effort in ^^
Thanks Mate !
Sweet as !
🙂
Make pull-out drawer based supports for the work bench.
Awesome that so many australian building materials are pink :-)
Andreas Gylling Hammershøj Olesen you mean New Zealand?
@@christophercrawford2736 Sorry for being an idiot, I didn't mean to be ignorant. I'm all the way across the globe and I'm kind of an idiot for not remembering to distinguish.
Andreas Gylling Hammershøj Olesen pretty sure it’s common for people to mix up Australia and New Zealand accents.
@@aholesen us Aussies have pink batts too 😉
Very nice mate
Amazing work lads!
well done boys. That was awesome to watch. Great Job.
Cracking job guys
Good work chaps - the ceiling looks great. I'm sure the owner is pleased with the result.
It appears that there are quite a few followers of SBC who are also fans of The Essential Craftsmen. To them I say:
"Keep up the good work!"
Beautiful
10/10 for quality Fellas! Keep it up
Great video, thanks!
I laughed at having to open a new tube of glue for the last tiny piece... I recently broke a 1/2-inch mortising router bit after running about 175 feet of groove....I had 8 inches to go and had to go all the way to the store for another bit!
Looks really cool. Loving your work guys. Great music 🤗
The roof looks amazing. What a great product. Well done guys from SBC.😎
Good job. Looks good to!
really nice result
Great job guys, such an attention to detail.
Excellent job, looks very effective.
Very impressive work, and a really good look and inspiration for alternative to standard drywall ceiling.
that is stunning
Awesome work boys.
love this detail
how thick is the plywood ? thank you
DUUUDE! this is so gorgeous! Great work!
