@MeekMitts that was the biggest disappointment to me (and my kids) when we first saw the car live last weekend on a car expo. I came to check this video specifically to verify that I'm not crazy and making things up. I was convinced I saw the possibility to recline in the reviews from Korea. It's a bit of a bummer and possibly even a deal-breaker on a car i was almost 100% decided to buy when it comes. Big mistake to leave this feature out if they want to sell this as a first/only family car, which is apparently a key marketing message here in Europe.
True. And this means we have a fixed empty space between the back seats and the ribbon bar. I don't like that gap at all, it looks really weird. Furthermore, in Europe nearby the USB port we don't get the buttons to control the passenger's seat.
Kia and Hyundai seem to hate the UK - not only charging us more than the rest of Europe, but actively stripping out kit. It’s really unacceptable profiteering.

You will with a proper charger. It is lack of charging infrastructure compared to rest of the world here in Korea, which I found out after uploading this video. The speed shown here in this video isn’t that slow here in Korea tbh, again it’s the chargers fault, not the EV3.

Is the adjustable rear seat on every ev3? we have the full option gt-line (Europe, Belgium), and it is exactly not on it. It can only be flattened for more trunk space. Is this correct?

Hi there, my only problem wtih your real life range test on highway is that in Europe, we have 130km/h speed and not 110km/h so these consumption figures can mislead a little bit us. You managed around 5km/kwh with a speed of around max 110 but what happens if u drive this car on a european highway with a speed of 130km/h. Your range dramaticaly drops to 2-3 km/kwh? Which leads us to a maximum of 250-300 km in reality. :( what are your thoughts on this? By the way, keep up with your great work. Love your channels
I didn't test and see it for myself, so I cannot be certain, yet I doubt that going 20km/h extra would yield crazy drop on the efficiency. It wouldn't do much tbh.
Why doesn't the European version have an adjustable backrest in the rear seat? That's almost a knock-out criterion for me. My Sportage has this adjustment.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how EV incentives are going to look the next 4 years in the US, so I'm going to buy an EV now while I still can. I would have loved this car though. It looks perfect for me.
EV3 AWD and EV3 GT are both confirmed. So there will be in 2025 a "normal" AWD with 125kW(front)+75kW(rear) motors and then a separate pure GT-model later in the 2026 year.
lol the idea of an en ev being noisy at 100km/h racks me up. I drive an early 2000 diesel frontier. at this age 100km on the highway it sounds like an old soviet era tractor. so everything else seems quiet to me. Would love to know the real world long distance review of the air model. I'm definitely more interested in tht that the higher end trims.

It is very worrying that you have driven the car so much now, and not seen it charge above 70 kw, there is no way that you have not been on chargers that can deliver more. If this holds up, it will be a major blow to this fine car.
The charging infrastructure is inferior here in Korea, which I come to realize with these EV3 videos and comments I get from them. The charging speed shown in the video is the average speed here in Korea, if not considered “fast.” EV3 does charge fast as claimed by Kia with proper charger output.

Yup, I noticed that too. I'm tall, so that was the deciding factor for me, that it wasn't going to be an EV3 for me.

No for CarPlay, not sure about AA, but heard it works. It could and would later be updated via OTA.

Nope, other than mandatory low speed “motor sound,” there isn’t any. Even if there is one, you can always turn it off with other EVs too.

I don't have it in numbers, but I never had an issue with regards to that. Nimble, easy car to drive around in cities.

In Norway a 2wd Ev3 in top spec cost more than a Tmy performance. Its so expensive that i think this modell will flopp in our market.
There are indeed a lot of options to choose from within that price range.
Strength of this vehicle is in the Air LR Version imho. 1.500 cheaper than M3, but better range and a SUV.

If it uses "Big Data" from KIA Navigation... it will just not work in Europe or any place that is not Korea where it is not the main marketshare
