Very clever! I've just been using a little titanium screen "grill" I picked up some where over the years. This is one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" videos! Well done!
The point is you need a full sized pot to work with any of the triangle pot stands. Negates their usefulness with a minimum setup. Traditionally, pot stands that are easily stowable need big pots, and pot stands that can support a cup (or better yet a Stanley cook pot) don't stow worth a darn. This isn't perfect, but goes a long way to solve that problem.

That stove bloomed really quick! I have one it takes maybe 30 minutes.
I use trangia pot support for storm cooker. A little bit big but work perfectly.
I loath "mime" videos, but this accessory is awesomely simple and cool, so I give it thumbs up.
mime videos are obnoxious.
Also works great the with Evernew titanium cross stands…
Thanks for sharing, its a great add on/fix, Cheers
It is sad that something like this is necessary to use the Triangle with a normal mug.
Can you tell me where to buy such a stand, or is it homemade
take a piece of slightly stronger
wire (the one used for a hanger is
recommended) and bend it around
into a triangle.
As simple as that 😇
For sale?
So how do I make this?
stainless steel wire, bend it, done
What thickness of steel wire please? 👍
What is point?
