Its more a lock box than a safe. Stopbox doesn't call their product a safe. What is behind you is a safe. I might get it to store other things while I travel.
Only downside i see is the did not reinforce the tethering slot. With enough force i think the "T" slot will shear, allowing whomever is trying to take it to just walk off with it despite it being tied down.. other than that pretty nice

It is great to know this option has mechanical switches to open rather than concerning oneself about batteries to keep it juiced. Can't beat that or traditional lock and tumbler. ....that is unless it's from a certain company which will provide law enforcement with a master code in no time at all. (ahem)
I have one of these and the "glass reinforced polycarbonate" is pretty weak. So, I'd not leave it out where some nefarious person might walk away with it!

Its not weak. If you don’t have a saw a person is not getting into it. Ive seen people driving over them and the box and it takes it
