Impressive, as usual I'd say, how thorough and clean of a work that is, can't imagine the patience needed and all the little struggles we probably don't see... Sounds like a messy and difficult job to do when you think about it, and so would say all those I've seen trying on TH-cam, yet you make it so peaceful and satisfying to watch! Your camera job has been on another level lately, the intro is a work of art 👌 I think that my ultimate dream currently would be to have a workshop like yours, with tons of space and equipment to restore vintage OEM+ BMWs or japanese cars down to the bare chassis. (then I remember I live in a small apartment, and just got my E36 323ti's sills poorly undercoated again because rust always come back... hope one day it can get properly treated like one of your cars! )
Thank you very much my friend! The filming definitely coverers about 5% of the work. The other 95% is usually struggle and complications haha. I think that’s incredible i that you have a car and are able to take care of it. We’re all at different points with people doing much more and much less than us. Gotta really love the journey of where you’re at currently 🤎
Love the content man! For the POR15 if you use a self tapping screw in the lid instead of popping it off you can get a lot more life out of a can! Just pour it into a small cup and go to town!
your videos are the only ones i geniunely like on youtube actually. just to get your ass big enough so you earn a proper living with what you love. keep it coming homie. would love to have you working on my E30 lol
So timely for me as I’m in the process of fixing rust on my e30 M3. About to order POR15 and 3M undercoating. How many cans of 3M did you go through? Thanks for the great vid 🙏🏽
the opening shots were straight fire my dude. At first with the purple power, i was like damn this man spraying that without a mask, he got iron lungs, then you put the mask on, haha. This E30 turning out so clean man, cant wait to see it all done!
Hey Mike, Always perfect work and your video is really cineastic (are those word exist?)...if i had such an shop, i would live there...greetings from bavaria....Alex
How do you resist the urge to take off that super nice Seiko you have from the wrist? I don’t exactly baby my Seiko either but man, I just can’t imagine harsh chemicals splashing on them 🫠
hey Mike, loved your approach towards the undercarriage, got an e34 myself that needs similar work done, but in Europe we don't have the POR-15, what would u reckon instead (got my eyes on these Brunox products) and 1 more thing, during my research there were several ppl saying that such undercoating is porous and in order for it to seal properly, waxcoating is recommended, how's the 3M holding up so far without such waxcoating?
I thought that stuff was bad because it traps moisture between it and the metal. I know por 15 is great but didn't know you could put anything over it except the topcoat
YOU thought or you heard from some shmuck? Most opinions on this time of work are very bad. This was taken from two shops that lead in restoration of these specific cars
@@ChromaticGarage uh no.... this is just me asking. Again, I thought the only thing you could put over por 15 base coat was the por-15 top coat. But since this method is coming from restoration shops I'll keep it in mind 👍🏾
Abtut those cans, i forgot the name. If you drill a hole inside the lid and pour out the amount you need and then put a screw inside the hole, ist is supposed to hold much longer.

Worldwide Garage Club hat sighting on the latest Donut video. Moving up
And that I loved to see. Donut bringing all the right energy to cars.
Am I the only one who got strange satisfaction from the perfect tire tracks in the opening shots?
You are not!
Hahaha I also really enjoyed those. Very crisp ☺️
That circle at 19:32 was possibly the best thing I’ve seen all day. I don’t have an exciting life.
Hahahaha I also enjoy the little things ☺️
Happy you made another video. I always look forward to when you upload another video👑
Thanks Jaime! I do love making videos when I have time ☺️
So mesmerising and calm, hits so different compared to every other car channel out there
Thank you bro! Trying to stay in my own lane over here 🫶
Restoration is rarely done to such a high standard, well done
I really appreciate that bro!!🤝🤝
Would hate to do this job but outcome looks great lol
Haha yeah it’s absolutely terrible tbh. But worth it 😭
My spot, dedication with love, cheers MAN
Appreciate you bro! Hope you are doing great 🤝
A ton of work but so worth it. Looks good and hopefully this extends the life of that classic
Thanks Craig! Realistically in my ownership it won’t even see rain so as long as I don’t sell it, it’s safe forever haha
Chromatic - high level person
Haha thank you bro!🤎🤎
The aesthetics hit different. Mega work. Big up the POR15 too
Forever looking up to your skill bro! Much love 🤎🤝
This is God tier stuff right here, folks
Appreciate that dude! 🤎🤎
Watching this on a very wet Sunday afternoon in the U.K. and it's pure chill, thanks fella.
Great job dude, looks really well done and should keep this car on the road for 30 more years!
Thanks Fred! Fingers crossed 🤎🤎
So nicely done. So jealous of a few things: the shop (I wish I had a lift!), your time, and maybe most importantly your patience. Great job!
Thanks dude! Appreciate it
That shot where you fly sideways into the shop ❤
Appreciate you bro!
This is just Movie Art for TH-cam… im in love with every camera shot that this man do

Thanks Rafael! Really excited for the next video!

Yet another piece of art! Duuuude, you‘re killin it! 💯🔝🚀
Thanks Raphael! This one was a lot of fun🤝🤝
I swear you time these videos for when I sit down for the evening and open a beer or pour a gin haha 👌
Perfect cinematography every time, thanks man
Haha maybe I time them, maybe you’re just always opening a beer 😳😭
@@ChromaticGarage haha I mean, Super Bowl weekend, there is a good chance of me opening a beer 😂
@dangale6969 as they say, its superbowl Sunday somewhere
another banger of a video
Appreciate you bro!!🫶
the drip, the cars, the drone work at the start, the welcome notes. how does he keep doing it!!? great stuff dude :)
Haha I appreciate you bro! That stuff is big big fun 🤎🤎
So timely for me as I’m in the process of fixing rust on my e30 M3. About to order POR15 and 3M undercoating. How many cans of 3M did you go through? Thanks for the great vid 🙏🏽
Awesome man! I hope it goes well. 6-7 cans seems to be perfect 🤝
I subbed before I even started watching, I knew this was going to be amazing and I wasn't disappointed
Haha I love that. That’s for watching man!🤝⭐️
May I suggest an artist ?? Laurent bardainne and Tigre D’eau Douce, great mood vibing on some horns
Thanks Mickey! Very good music 🤝

Thanks dude! Hahaha I have never used it full strength before and after one squirt I grabbed the respirator. That stuff is no joke haha
Is it possible to feel a video? I think I just did. Unreal work as usual bro
Hahaha it is possible. Thank you bro!
amazing! Well done
Thank you!🤎☺️
Hey Mike, Always perfect work and your video is really cineastic (are those word exist?)...if i had such an shop, i would live there...greetings from bavaria....Alex
Thank you very much Alex!
Haters will say the end result is photoshopped. But we know better. Clean job, looks amazing as always.
Hahaha thanks man! Hope you have been doing well 🤝🤝
Caught an easter egg!!!!! The lexus is gone and you have the Porsche now. My guess this episode was filmed awhile ago
I still have the Lexus, I don’t drive the cayenne, and this was last week. Maybe spend some of that energy on making parlays 👍
How do you resist the urge to take off that super nice Seiko you have from the wrist?
I don’t exactly baby my Seiko either but man, I just can’t imagine harsh chemicals splashing on them 🫠
Haha I really enjoy wearing the things I like when doing the things I like. I don’t have sentiment attachment to objects, just the memories of process
@@ChromaticGarage fair enough, and arguably, you might get the sickest patina from exposing it to chemicals 😜
Хороший владелец достался этой прекрасной BMW купэ

Your shop is dope af. Do you know the dimensions? Trying to get an idea of sizing for a future build for my property
I thought that stuff was bad because it traps moisture between it and the metal. I know por 15 is great but didn't know you could put anything over it except the topcoat

That’s really interesting! Never heard that. Wish I knew before hand haha
Attention to detail is insane man, any advice for someone to break out into the Auto Detailing world?
Do you have any long term experience with the 3M undercoatings? Like does it seal well and hold up?
ART
Say it louder for the people in the back 😩
Top work!👍 It looks mint!!!!👍 Cannot wait to see this finished.😎😎😎
Saaaaame bro! Thank you. Hope you have a great week 🤝🤝
