Im actually extremely excited by this update - This is the bread and butter of what an MMO is like or not.. This is a main core component of the gameplay loop
I hope we can make nodes that have focused functions and aesthetics for example a magic based node that affects the towns lighting options, floating candles, different colored flames, libraries, etc.. or a mercenary based town with pubs/bars, with bounty hunting station, and focuses on melee weapons and armor, etc… would be interesting
its dynamic questing. From what I understand the questing responds based on what you do.. if you keep chopping down trees from a "Mandate" the tree people will attack..

Commissions are a very important game mechanic that every player needs to be aware of. Commissions directly affect the node you are in and they affect YOUR gameplay in that node. Even if all you want to do is huff Copium all day in your node, Commissions will have an effect on your ability to do so.
Honestly, it could be because of such a simple thing that Intrepid Studios doesn’t want to reveal too much before Alpha 2. They probably want to keep most things hidden until we find out about them! Good Video Narc!

@@slloyd9892 Im really hopeful we will have alot of meaningful content at least if the development took so long. My biggest fear is that we're gonna run out of things to do, and the gamerdads will just tell us to not play that much..
They're gonna be revealing more and more of the game as time goes on, why is anyone surprised not every single update is up their particular alley? This kind of pedestrian stuff still needs to be done, people are still working to make it up to snuff, and those things are also important.
Ya but to dedicate a livestream to collecting mats isnt acceptable at this point. I have to assume its going to be more innovative than we think its going to be. Mayb quests in Ashes will be actually you know interesting for a change, that would be nice.

The video of the ambush they did on the caravan was disgustingly disappointing... It looked absolutely terrible... I think they have failed this game...

That video was a bunch of children spamming random things at random targets and watching the pretty colors... If you couldn't see that it's because your small brain was distracted by the pretty colors...
@@gankie1956 if you watch closely at classes showcases, you can see how bad at playing his own game is creator of this game, such a player will not be able to create something truly interesting for those who know how to play
@gankie1956 You are completely and totally wrong and literally don't know what you are talking about at all. The game has tons of mechanics and intricate, well thought out, well designed systems. Intrepid keeps over performing at every turn. Their servers ran great even all the way back in Alpha 1. They have made consistent tangible progress and the game in its current state is already better than half the games on the market. You should really follow the game closer before embarrassing yourself with half baked opinions.
