After watching your first video about the M1EVO and then this one like a million times. I caved and bought 2 for my wife and I. Its got all the features I've been looking for and looks to be pretty future proof for now. Thanks for the indepth breakdown. I'd love to see how else you might be able to play around with this one. SFF really is a gift that keeps on giving.
I bought 2 of the black version :o It was in stock on Monday earlier this week. I'm not sure if they will keep rolling out 1.1 versions since 2.0 is being built @@sandwichlee
I Really hope you will make for us a Dual Radiator build for this Case, noone has yet and many people here would like that judging by the old setup of the Ncase M1 which was also a dual Rad build handling anything you throw at it ! Have a happy healthy new year !
this is freaking clean. i like the aesthetics on this case with everything installed. i think id want this for my next build. just gotta find a mATX mobo that has an extra PCI/e slot for my internal capture card 😅
Hi M8, i love your videos, camera angles, lighting, recomendations and the specific knowledge about the details of sizes and combinations of hardware based on it. Thank you very much. Btw, i have noticed your videos mainly on darker areas has some macro blocking, not sure if is the camera you are using, the compression or what. But this does bot happen with other videos on youtube. Do you have noticed that? Thx!
Very nice and versatile. But also expensive and very involved process. CM NR200P-Max seems to be one the most straight forward sff to build in although that’s larger in size/volume
I’ve been researching this case and a few others some ppl on Reddit are saying it’s got some issue and at 200 plus I don’t man my meshy is awsome so far
This case looks awesome for anyone wanting to go ITX but wants something a little bigger. Not sure if it's as good, but the build quality looks a lot like the FormD T1.
As far as I'm aware it's the same designer and even made in the same factory, I noticed the hardware like screws looks identical to the T1 V2.1 I got a little while ago. Super cool case if the T1 is a bit too cramped though
i wouldnt recommend this case for someone looking to get into ITX the setup of it and making any changes to your build is a bit of a pain in the ass i love mine, but even just opening it to manage some cables im like "ughhh" compared to my m1 v6
what do you think of the fractal lumen s24 v2? im limited for case choices and have no other options. so i gotta go for the m1 evo. I dont see many reviews on the aio... but i've been told since the pump is in the radiator, i should'nt install it in the top position
How about the internal temperature? I'm willing to buy an ITX or ATX pc gaming, but I'm worried about decrease of performance because of the high internal temperatures.
Hi Devyn, would a matx motherboard work on this with a 240 or 280 rad on top? I have the ROG x670E gene motherboard and it would be a waste for me to switch to an ITX motherboard. :(
Seek as usual, thank you for the attention to detail and going so in depth, is great to see the things you learned along the way from your previous build!
If you mounted the AIO on the side, and the motherboard on top, with the GPU plugged directly in to the mobo, is there any extra room to mount some 140mm or 120mm fans? Great vid! Keep it up!
hello Devyn, why don't you do a(2023 pc cases awards) or (my pc cases choice from 2023), the idea is to give thoughts and a conclusion about cases you used.
For an SFF build, look at the Silverstone SG13. If you choose to build in it, I’d recommend using a 120 aio and an SFX psu for extra room. When using an SFX psu, be sure to get an atx-SFX psu conversion bracket as the case takes an atx as standard.
I really have a hard time deciding whether or not that Silverstone SG13 you've mentioned looks like a garbage box or just like actual garbage. Regardless of that it's most definitely one of the ugliest pieces of hardware i've ever seen. Holy shit.
This mini itx cases are nice, but is same "problem" on a lot off this type off itx case availability and prices... I know fractal Terra is expensive too, but probably was the one I'm going in a itx build.. Nicee video 👌💪
i would love to hear your thoughts on some cheap chinese cases. i personally have a darkFlash DLC21 on my table. and im quite happy with it consindering i don't have the need for a perfect airflow. i really had to dig deep to stumble upon it, especially because some of the well known brands are only available/affordable for the us customers and some of us are also sitting in europe.
I'm curious why you went with a mITX build when the whole point of this case and it's larger size is to accommodate mATX mobos? As a mITX case the M1EVO is way too big to justify for a SFF build, but is just right for mATX SFF based builds.
You can't fit a top mounted rad with a mATX board. At least not with any of the ones I own. And if I went side mounted, then I wouldn't be able to vertically mount the GPU. Ultimately, I went with the components I thought would be the best/easiest way to show the different options available.
the whole point of this case was not to accomodate mATX mobo but to accomodate bigger size GPUs than the last gen while keeping the same design element as the old one.
It looks nice though if you want to run a 4090 I wouldnt recommend that case. High 80 temps is too toasty imho. It's because there's not enough room for fans it seems. I'm running a 4090 and 13900k in an AP2 01 and on cyberpunk at ultra settings Im seeing 70 ish temps with the glass panel on for hours. Running a total of 5 fans not including the AIO fans. I did deviate from using the power supply enclosure to get it all to fit. You should make a video to see whats possible by trying to add more fans.
The amount of people crying about this case in the discord server was wild, while I agree that the manual was shitty it’s not that hard to figure out once you start using more than 2 braincells… The case is great and solid as hell, probably my favorite case hands down.
This case is fucking garbage. Screws overnighted from factory, motherboard tray bends because brackets aren't designed correctly, and is a total pain to put together and use, plus being well over $200 with add-ons like tempered glass or a PCI-E cable. I have the V1 though, maybe they fixed all this in V1.1?
My dad wants an eatx build im pushing itx every time i see him hehe. I think he wants to run a 5090... like he needs it for work and not gaming surreee dad.
Received couple days ago mine, v1.1 and i'm disappointed. For that kind of money no paper/phisical manual, plastic bag with screws all together. I have case fo 80$ wher screws placed in plastic tray, and each of them is labeled. Here, for 225$ we have them all together witout labaling. First impression is greate, quality of case materials is top notch. But, then you star to build it disappointment comes. Hope they fix this in v2 or future versions.
I have an Ncase M1 v5 with an I7 8700K and a GTX1070TI. And the computer marked can s.ck my a.s. I will not upgrade ever again for being able to play games. This industry has lost its mind.
So many problems with this build, 1st these Ryzen CPU's are horrible for memory XMP/DOCP stability and will eventually start acting up (I already RMA"d 3 different units from 3 totally different rigs). Never use an AMD processor, always go for Intel, in this case probably the 13600k or 13900k (if you use 900k max wattage to the default 253 W). 2nd, it's just ridiculous that this case doesn't apropriately fit the 180 deg adapter for the GPU, yeah, remove that cover and enjoy getting your whole thing fried when it eventually shorts due to the electric tape not holding up. Huge fan of your channel but please don't support AMD and chassis comapanies that output flawed cases out there. And by the way I used to run my build on an Ncase M1. The tecware fusion is cheaper, smaller than the CM and can accomodate a micro atx build with an atx power supply as well.
that’s clean
its great if you have 3k in loose change to spare, the prices for parts in the UK are astronomical

you can put normal atx psu in the case? didn't know that. what are the limitations on gpu then?

It comes with the Motherboard. I bet you could find someone selling one somewhere though. Hope this helps
Hello, is this set with the air cooling is compatible with matx motherboards?
Definitely gonna get this case it’s beautiful
Is your m1 stock like u didn’t do any add ons or anything?
Ooooh, the FormD T1 got a facelift and growth spurt x'D
Growth spurt, lol. So true 👍
How is the Airflow with a Rtx40 series founders edition?
I see you are pulling air out with the radiator and pulling air in with the gpu.

That noctua cpu cooler is adorable
Any way to get in the gpu horizontally in this set up? With the AIO radiator?
Devyn another beautifully shot video great job
I bought the NR200 on Black Friday for 65 bucks. I’d buy it again for 100 in a heartbeat. The build quality is fantastic.
It once went down to 10 bucks. What's a steal, and I missed it.
Does anyone know if it's possible to take the LED power button from the original M1 V6 and put it into the M1EVO for that LED power button look?
hi. what kind is that noctua air cooler @ 8:36.
Noctua NH-D9L chromax black
@@devyn.johnston thank you so much 😁
Do you know if the 280mm version of the Fractal Lumen AIO fit in this?
do you think you can take a look at the sama im01? I'm looking to getting it for a pc build
clean build!! but i do have some question does this case will fit some gpu hybrid coolers tho?
How about the internal temperature? I'm willing to buy an ITX or ATX pc gaming, but I'm worried about decrease of performance because of the high internal temperatures.

The v2 is already going to be coming so if you use the 4090 it helps it’s got an extra 6mm with or so according to another TH-camr
Hey ! I love your work great video !
Do you think it can be possible to fit 2 radiators ? (And also if it’s possible with vertical gpu)

what mice is that?
will this hold a gigabtype 4080 aorus master?

Their website shows different setup variations, but yes you can fit a fan at the bottom. with the GPU plugged into the Mobo.
might be better with the GPU in a vertical position though with fans on the bottom.
We need itx case with side mounting aio 240 with fresh air from outside, 2x120 bottom fans, glass panel, under 14L, that would be sick
7900xt in an itx? What a Tiny beast
I'm waiting for that mach kit.
You should do more Velka 3 and 5 builds.

Can it fit a Rog 4090 Strix?
Can you please let me know the weight on this mini beast, Laptops are not the best for VFX when i travel and wanted to use something flexible

designing them is harder and therefore takes more money to develop. They have to pay themselves and those who work for them.
Because it's less sought after, so it's not as mass produced.
Welcome to itx tax.
