Yeah. Alt Rock. Probably. its a sort of catch all genre. Often defined as rock with hip hop or pop traits. Still, as usual , genres are for selling and finding music not for making it. The differences are paper thin. Like a bass tone or smthing. But in general it really reminds me of some of the earlier Celldweller songs from late 2000s. The Wish Upon a Black Star albums in particular. Which adds a whole layer on it for me xd

The final kingdom, is such a unique song when compared to the other songs in the new album. With the difference in instruments and the difference in tone, beat, and lyrics this song kinda feels like its giving a middle finger to the other songs related to the golden order. (Which is even more humorous since the 3 fingers consists of the thumb, index, and the middle finger of the hand.) And I love that. ❤️

@@dronoid4659 honestly dunno about that, as aside from this song, eternal lullaby and serpent that swallowed the Moon, chasing shadows songs kinda sound the same, good on first listen and Well wordead, but since all are delivered whit same slow unchanging tone, which gets repetetive. Unpopular opinion but had to say it, still only one miss in a long career.
Another great piece! Frenzied Flame was one of my favourite endings in Elden Ring from a cinematrogaphic perspective if nothing else. The final scenes and the journey to get there feel and look very nice. The tomb of the nomads, the Three Fingers branding the character, the player self immolating at the giant's kiln, the Erdtree burning and Melina vowing to hunt us across the ashes of the world. Its by far the most striking of the endings.
@@kindlingking That's subjective, I don't think there really are any good endings. Frenzied Flame is the only one that seems to guarantee an end to the cycle of violence that the Lands Between are in, but it does so by destroying it all. Is it better to live in a flawed and cruel world, or better to not exist at all? Do the gods and mortals who enact the cycle and repeat the mistakes of the past over and over deserve to keep trying, or should they all burn for their sins? I don't think there's a good answer to those questions. Unlike in Ariandel in DS3 there's no common consensus within the world that it is time to end it all, many of the people want to iterate on the current situation and try to find a better way, and given time they might succeed even if it leaves an uncountable number of atrocities in their wake.

Because these are all terms used to describe not a thing, but a thing’s absence. The dark is merely the absence of light. The cold is merely the absence of heat. Do like how the beat of the song is similar to Stay Dead. Since both are about someone who seeks to destroy a kingdom. But this one is a bit energetic, showcasing The Frenzied Flame achieved it's goal of burning the world to ash.

I love this so much! Midra is my favorite DLC boss so far and one of my favorites in the whole game. Oh, I love the switch to the Frenzied Flame Proscription. My faith-based character on my second save is one I'm going for the Frenzied Flame ending with. I'll just have to sure to switch her frenzy incantations out for lightning and maybe some Dragon Communion ones for Midra, since I'm going to assume fire isn't going to be much use against him. I'm playing her as being rather chaotic and having a yolo approach to things. Well, not killing NPCs though, because I never kill NPCs in these games; except I did kill Gostoc with her. I'll have more than enough Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones that I won't need to buy the single one he sells if I don't kill his treacherous ass.
This is good antagonists music. Another evil dark villain who has dark motives that could have a good antagonist theme would be Khahrahk the Scarlet King from the SCP Mythos who reigns over entire cosmic empire or darkness below in his Scarlet Presence that can make millions of eldritch deities and presences scream in anguish and terror in the wake of his shadow to conquer and subjugate all the borders of all the corners of creation into his hegemonic dominion where his presence and all his desires and incentives can be enforced everywhere and dominate every single thing.

I'm playing her as being rather chaotic and having a yolo approach to things. Well, not killing NPCs though, because I never kill NPCs in these games; except I did kill Gostoc with her. Another evil dark villain who has dark motives that could have a good antagonist theme would be Khahrahk the Scarlet King from the SCP Mythos who reigns over entire cosmic empire or darkness below in his Scarlet Presence that can make millions of eldritch deities and presences scream in anguish and terror in the wake of his shadow to conquer and subjugate all the borders of all the corners of creation into his hegemonic dominion where his presence and all his desires and incentives can be enforced everywhere and dominate every single thing.
