Navi Mumbai Airport Runway inaugurated by IAF, first trial flight lands successfully

History was created at Navi Mumbai today as IAF inaugurated Navi Mumbai Airport’s runway. The first trial flight Aircraft C-295 landed at the airport around 1 pm. Upon arrival at the airport, the aircraft was welcomed with a water cannon salute. IAF’s Sukhoi SU-30 performed a low fly-past over the runway.
