October 6th, 2024, the skies above Chennai roared with the might of 72 aircraft as the Indian Air Force (IAF) staged one of the most awe-inspiring air shows in the country’s history. Celebrating the 92nd anniversary of the IAF, the event showcased India’s advanced air capabilities with a breathtaking display of Sukhoi-30 MKIs, Tejas, Rafales, and more. With over 1.5 million spectators gathered along Marina Beach, this show highlighted India’s growing self-reliance in defence. It paid tribute to the brave men and women who guard the nation’s skies.

Whoever watching this please please don't try to attend these kinds of events at any cost until unless you are not a VIP. We struggled lot. Started at 7am returned 8pm. Well prepared like weared cotton clothes, caps, 8 lt water bottles, cucumber, sun glass, lunch, umbrella, ice water, still struggled lot... Very hot extreme climate.. 96% people struggled. Don't listen who speaking polished. Extreme crowd.. 5 dead itseems more than 50 people fell down. None of things covered in news.please don't never and ever think to attend these kinds of events

No proper arrangements for public. Good arrangements only for CM police officers and military higher officers. Poor public was not even considered as dogs. Public is only for cheering. 5 people died 250 people hospitalized. If you don't know to make proper arrangements to public then don't bring this kind of events to Chennai. Shame on the organizers.

yes, They should have given free limited online booking or some sort based on the capacity the organizers can handle properly and requested rest to watch it through other media and should have considered the hot weather as well.

The air show was amazing .but arrangement and public handling is worse ,no public management no trafic management .after complition of air show i went to the park and sat their for four hours because at least for four hours their is no police to manage the trafic ,no rapido ,no jio network .

All these air shows are a nuisance for general public.Been to the banglore air show twice,and even after spending a good amount in ticket ,the arrangements were pathetic under harsh sun.No proper parking,no food ,no water.The same was the case with Mumbai recently.There was total chaos with roads blocked and no proper facilities.The management with these air shows are terrible.

@@green4992 Mumbai was better ,but there were numerous road blocks and getting out of that area itself was a nightmare.There were non cabs for hours together .People were walking more than 2 km just to get a cab .
