Calling it now: Star and Marco adopt baby Mina and raise her to be a good person who doesn't want to kill all monsters, they find a way out of the former Realm of Magic with Glossarick, but they end up in some far off dimension, unable to get back to Earth or Mewni, but manage to make a life for themselves and their adopted daughter, they get married, and eventually find a way to send messages to their families to let them know they're okay. They might even find a way to unite all dimensions in the end like in the series proper. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but if I'm right that would be fucking awesome. Release part 2 already! I wanna see if my prediction is right!

Now this is what the finale was missing actual consequences for Star and Marco staying in the magic realm. What those two did was really stupid and dangerous and should have had more repercussions for leaving their loving families and friends because they just needed each other . Imagine if the dimensions did stay separate, leave the worlds to deal with their own issues and how each world adapt to these times with how Marcos friends and family are adjusting to his disappearance and most importantly the lost of all magic everywhere and how Mewni is dealing with all if this. Even though this is just a fan project it makes you think on how it could have been if the episode was an hour long or such.
Well, if they didn't go back the dimensions would have never cleaved So they have an outcome to wat the did even if it wasn't a bad consequence it still resulted in something

(I suspect only beings born of the Realm of magic actually died... I also suspect that Glosseric and the MHC may have actually been spells as it would probably make a lot of sense.... )

Well this doesn't fix the many problems of the final but i admit it's better. ( i think we all took too seriously a show that wanted to be deep and remarkable but didn't have the soulder to be, the potential was here but it was never truly embrace. Sadly...)

Hence the ending being open in an obvious chaotic state, but also in a state where everyone is more or less good to tackle it (the era of war has been over since Comet and Moon's reign, mewmans and monsters are more open to discussions now following Cornonation, Mina no longer has magic to abuse, and let's not forget people in Echo Creek are like...the chillest population on earth ever that it wouldn't surprise me if they managed to adjust to everything in like...4 months) everyone was horrified by the cleaving, but c'mon guys, the world in SVTFOE has always been really silly, the freaking local cops just grabbed a ladder after seeing a helicopter being frozen in midair, they'd get used with all the weirdness in no time. Ya'll are so spoiled by ATLA that you forgot the ending is still pretty in-line with the overal tone of the series. Which is weird and wild.

People kept thinking it was plot-driven because they kept comparing it to Gravity Falls. When it always has a different focus. Case in point: S3b focused more on Eclipsa as a person than anything lore or magic-related. The show is first and foremost a coming-of-age story for both Star and Marco (and the people they met in their lives) something the show has been telling about before Fortune Cookies brought some plot into the mix. And open endings is the staple of this kind of stories, they rarely ever ends with external problems being completely solved (only the current, pressing one. In this case the solarian invasion.) but it ends with the characters now grown up enough to tackle this new chapter in their lives. (And not just Star and Marco, everyone from Moon to mewmans to monsters on Earthni are more or less good to tackle this new situation too as of Cornball and Cornonation have shown) not to say the ending is perfect, and some things can clearly be improved. But it's totally not out of left-field, case in point: BfM ends with Star finishing her Dipping Down arc after a season of character growth, instead of focusing more about Toffee and his motivations (which was left for fans to figure out themselves, and the answer is already obvious anyway) the problem is not the show not following its usual tone (because this is how the show has always been, if you just stop and see the show as what it is, and not expect too much) but the fans thinking it has always been focused on plot (no thanks to a large number of fans coming from the plot-driven Gravity Falls) instead of character development.
Fye Ruze yeah echo creek but what about the rest of the world how are they going to react to basically alien invaders. Did monsters end up in places like china, africa, or the middle east. They even admitted in the show humans blow each other up a lot so its going to be even worse without magic.

Yea, I prefer this ending over the one we got. This makes it feel good, this time one of Marco and Star's adventures had series consequences. Leaving the worlds un-cleaved is great, because now we get to see how they deal with the "loss"

It was more serious than what the characters are usually, even though it passed a lot of years already And i think it could use some more posing, posing is what brings out what a character is all about Like Star: she'd tackle Marco instead of hugging him Or like Angie: she's a lot more softer, so she wouldn't run crying, SHE would be the one to soft hug and say "our little boy is ok" or something

Guys. We need to be grateful for what we got. Daron tried to get more episodes in season 4. It didn’t work out. It was confirmed that there was unaired episodes. It was also confirmed that they wanted a longer finale time (an hour). Disney didn’t give it to them and they had very little time to make the episode. They tried their best. Yet I personally think it was really good for the amount of time they had.
I need more! This seriously should have been part of the finale and we should have been given at least an hour long episode. Can't wait to see part 2 of this.
My thoughts about Part 1. -Moon thinking that Star died or never returning *(looking completely broken)* while Janna doesn’t know if Marco survived. She looks depressed as well. Brilliant concept with that. -5 year time skip on both worlds: life goes on. -River & Globgor being bros, I love ❤️ that. Meteora sees River as an uncle, so sweet. They didn’t forget about his actions. -Eclipsa & Globgor are worried & concerned about Moon. She doesn’t want to live close by because of the guilt she facing due to her past actions, I think. It makes perfect sense. -Moon goes on with life, but looks completely drained. *Presumably, she’s trying to go on for her daughter & her husband.* -Letters from the children, #starco is alive?! -So Star & Marco are stuck in the realm of magic. *Action has consequences, even acts of true love.* -Glossaryck’s alive, didn’t see that coming. Star wanting to possibly kill him, long awaited karma for his attitude & being a terrible mentor. He is genuinely scared of Star’s anger: good.
This is why I hate that Disney pulled the plug a season early. They had to wrap everything up in a neat little bow in half the time. I honestly expected something like this when I was watching it. They end up somewhere completely different because they ended up trapped in the magic. I expected the rest of the finale to be the families trying to get by without the two present, but then "nope, let's mash the two worlds together and leave viewers wondering how Earth's inhabitants are going to get by with Mewni's life forms.
If they tried this, I would have been so disappointed, but also at the same time, so surprised and thought that the show’s ending was so much more exciting!

I really loved this, things actually didn’t go perfectly and it wasn’t according to plan, but they made a choice and those are the consequences I find that much better and cooler than everything just going their way every time they mess up

Like what if it took time for the dimensions to come together? You're just gonna get stuck in a strange place where time is complicated?! By the way, I love the animatic. Not gonna lie, it left me 1000 times more satisfied than the actual thing. I mean, the stakes are higher, the emotions are more believable and don't get me started on the collapse of the Earth and Mewnie. I'm not sure about the part with Glossaryk, but I''m intrigued to see how it's gonna turn out.

This alternate ending is has a bad and good ending. In early and mid video, it seem like the bad ending and the end of video it has a good and neutral ending. But it has complicated just like Glossaryck said.

Guys. We need to be grateful for what we got. Daron tried to get more episodes in season 4. It didn’t work out. It was confirmed that there was unaired episodes. It was also confirmed that they wanted a longer finale time (an hour). Disney didn’t give it to them and they had very little time to make the episode. They tried their best. Yet I personally think it was really good for the amount of time they had.

My thoughts about Part 1.
-Moon thinking that Star died or never returning *(looking completely broken)* while Janna doesn’t know if Marco survived. She looks depressed as well. Brilliant concept with that.
-5 year time skip on both worlds: life goes on.
-River & Globgor being bros, I love ❤️ that. Meteora sees River as an uncle, so sweet. They didn’t forget about his actions.
-Eclipsa & Globgor are worried & concerned about Moon. She doesn’t want to live close by because of the guilt she facing due to her past actions, I think. It makes perfect sense.
-Moon goes on with life, but looks completely drained. *Presumably, she’s trying to go on for her daughter & her husband.*
-Letters from the children, #starco is alive?!
-So Star & Marco are stuck in the realm of magic. *Action has consequences, even acts of true love.*
-Glossaryck’s alive, didn’t see that coming. Star wanting to possibly kill him, long awaited karma for his attitude & being a terrible mentor. He is genuinely scared of Star’s anger: good.
Definitely was better that "the true final" I really hope the second part.

This is why I hate that Disney pulled the plug a season early. They had to wrap everything up in a neat little bow in half the time. I honestly expected something like this when I was watching it. They end up somewhere completely different because they ended up trapped in the magic. I expected the rest of the finale to be the families trying to get by without the two present, but then "nope, let's mash the two worlds together and leave viewers wondering how Earth's inhabitants are going to get by with Mewni's life forms.
