You know, I like what you do with magic here. Instead of just outright destroying magic, this seems more like one big magical CTRL+ALT+Delete function.
That's better than the original ending. There are fewer open questions, the story is better, it's romantic and dramatic, and the magic is still there. I wish this ending was the real one. Even if I would have liked another kiss from Star and Marco. Still, this video is very impressive.
Wow! This was a big improvement on cleaved. In this star admitted that it was selfish of her to destroy the magic without the concern of the consequences. And her family and friends. and overall, everything turned out fine. Great improvement on cleaved.
I mean, iirc, it was woven on the tapestries of fate or whatever that Star would destroy the magic. So however "selfish" it was(and I believe she disliked the idea of it when she first saw the tapestries), it Had to happen.

Wow, I finally just decided to finish watching Star VS The Forces of Evil, and at first I was content with the ending. But now that I seen this alternate ending, it makes me realize the original ending definitely could've been better. This alternate ending even makes me want to know more about what happens after, which is rare for me when it comes to endings. You really created a masterpiece with this alternate ending.
Even if the finale is fixed, there’s still a matter of the rest of the lackluster season. With this series, it seems there is a golden opportunity to restore Star vs the Forces of evil to its former glory
I'm a little late to the party, but I absolutely love this ending. I didn't mind the original all that much. I remember watching the last episode and I was so excited that Star and Marco's love basically spread across the realms, uniting them. However, after the initial shock and joy that came from watching the last episode for the first time, I really thought about the ending and it did feel a bit lackluster. Like it was the typical "with the power of friendship/love" ending that kids stories usually have. Star was always kind of hyped up to be super powerful on her own, and it feels like this ending really shows that she was truly a powerful queen.
I'm glad this alternate ending highlights the redemption of Meteora and Mina. The actual ending to the show felt bleak to me, not only because they *literally* killed the magic, but more so because they wrote off Mina in a way that forces us to believe she's a lost cause. Mina has always somehow felt about on the same level of xenophobe as the rest of Mewni's populace before they accepted Globgor, yet her xenophobia was a direct result of the queens who empowered her madness. Giving her a new beginning only feels right for the story of second chances and new futures this is supposed to be. The only true antagonist or villain deserving of their fate was Toffee, but that's because his character wanted nothing but power from what I could gather. Bottom line: only a true villain could kill off Glossaryck in their story and be okay with it
I found this by accident, but then I've remembered Bob Ross saying: “We don’t make mistakes. We just have happy accidents.” I couldn't agree nymore, thank you for your hard work and passion on this alternate ending :)

This- I've never seen such a beautiful, accurate and heart warming alt ending. The art in this, it's just indescribable. The thing the character do, say or move.. I can see they doing exactly that. You just got the characters essence and got into their minds, it's just so natural. The looks too, oh my god. And the baby mina was brilliant. There was just so much enclosure I never thought I was going to see. Thank you.

Bruh the SVTFOE crew did their best, the writers of the show didn’t expect they’d get season 5 after season 4 so they had to too wrap things up quickly. That was literally Disney’s fault not the Star crew, they didn’t come up with the idea of Star Vs they just publish it. Daron said in a panel that she knows not everyone liked the ending but wanted to leave a cliffhanger because she didn’t know If she’d get another season after that.
I really like what you did with Mina's character here by redeeming her and regressing her back as a sweet,innocent child,kinda like Meteora at the end of Season 3's Conquer. I'm also glad Pony Head grew up really almost big just like her father,King Ponyhead and one of Buff Frog's children(Katrina) became a teenager.
18:34-It's great to see Star Butterfly finally now aged a couple of years(along with Marco) by coming out of the magic well grown up as a adult,finally come to her senses by admitting her past mistakes and wrongdoings and not realizing the consequences of her actions to her mother(kinda like Luz Noceda from Owl House and Marcy Wu from Amphibia did the same as Star here). Great to see Star finally apologizing for her past mistakes and accepting growing up as a person now,since she's already now completely a adult. This made me appreciate and love Star as a character again,after Seasons 3-4 really regressed and did her character really dirty,along with everyone else becoming much dumber in these seasons here.
This video makes me remember SVTFOE again and makes me feel as if it's a really well done and emotional anime. I never thought that I would sympathize so much with this show and I truly wished that the magic of it would go on. I wished it was an anime

"Congratulations Star" Moon hugs Star "Got any name ideas?" "Not really, but I have a feeling it's a boy" "Alright" Moon says as she hugs Star, smiles and a little tear trickles down from her eye The rest of the story goes as you have made it But thank you so much for providing such an interesting scenario!

That's the end I wanted to see I really felt at ease only after seeing this , even if it is not by the real author but I always it as real in heart always . For what if is not animated. Even a better ending can make heart put at ease. And now I can rest piece because I can't sleep with half end at cleaved. You made so many fans who love this series put some ease.

I recently decided to watch SVTFOE for the first time and ended up binge watching it to the end. I enjoyed the show but found the ending unsatifying and also lazy in my opinion. Mostly because there was so many questions unanswered and lots of contradictions in how magical creatures stay alive without magic. I ended up searching youtube to see if there was a movie or something that addressed the events after the episode and found this instead, and I have to say, your rendition of the ending is so much better than the original. Star actually takes responsibility for her actions and Marco is shown being able to properly use magic (which the show never bothered to explore beyond 2 short moments in 2 episodes), and of course the magical contradictions are much less prevalent (I say it like that because the show didn't say why certain magical creatures don't die while the magical commision does when the magic was destroyed). In short, thank you so much for creating this masterpiece, it is in my opinion good writing and accurate to how the characters would act and the artwork as well is good.
Well a dedicated teams of fans can try to animate, color, Voice coach to match character voices and do what Woke Dismal Refused to do. A decent emotional and hopeful ending! They have the magic that Walt Disney himself had. Drive and imagination and not saying it's impossible!
I'm gonna be honest, SVTFOE is one of my favourite cartoons for all time and I didn't feel bad about the canon ending, but it looks more like a season finale with cliff hangers than the end of the whole show. THIS could've been a great end to it, with actual answers and explanation about the new world building :3 I'm glad I watched it, I'm kinda pessimistic with alternate endings in general but this one's great ^^

This is so well done, I have accepted this as the better ending
That's the end I wanted to see I really felt at ease only after seeing this , even if it is not by the real author but I always it as real in heart always .
For what if is not animated. Even a better ending can make heart put at ease.

This ending is miles better than the actually ending of star vs the forces of evil
I recently decided to watch SVTFOE for the first time and ended up binge watching it to the end. I enjoyed the show but found the ending unsatifying and also lazy in my opinion. Mostly because there was so many questions unanswered and lots of contradictions in how magical creatures stay alive without magic.
I ended up searching youtube to see if there was a movie or something that addressed the events after the episode and found this instead, and I have to say, your rendition of the ending is so much better than the original. Star actually takes responsibility for her actions and Marco is shown being able to properly use magic (which the show never bothered to explore beyond 2 short moments in 2 episodes), and of course the magical contradictions are much less prevalent (I say it like that because the show didn't say why certain magical creatures don't die while the magical commision does when the magic was destroyed).
In short, thank you so much for creating this masterpiece, it is in my opinion good writing and accurate to how the characters would act and the artwork as well is good.

Well a dedicated teams of fans can try to animate, color, Voice coach to match character voices and do what Woke Dismal Refused to do. A decent emotional and hopeful ending! They have the magic that Walt Disney himself had. Drive and imagination and not saying it's impossible!
I'm gonna be honest, SVTFOE is one of my favourite cartoons for all time and I didn't feel bad about the canon ending, but it looks more like a season finale with cliff hangers than the end of the whole show. THIS could've been a great end to it, with actual answers and explanation about the new world building :3 I'm glad I watched it, I'm kinda pessimistic with alternate endings in general but this one's great ^^
I……love it the amount of drama yet able to balance out comedic parts is just perfect this is better and its not just ohh mewni and earth fused no. Its another world/dimension and it…it….It’s a perfect way to end like toh or amphibia we can acctually see the time skip and the ending be more happy.And the ending is just good why? Cause its a great piece of clay that you can be able to sculp and make it be a real story that you can experiment on.Thank you for this masterpiece just THANKYOU!

Mina did deserve better the show tried to make her sympathetic by showing a flashback but didn't do anything with it
To be honest her transformation removing her conscience and overall stubbornness means it would be impossible to get through to her 😅
