I got goosebumps at 8:40 when he said Season 4 was on its way, before immediately realizing that there already was a Season 4, and this video is a year old.
I don’t really mind it tho, because most situations of the show is gonna have Star and Marco in it like it was back in S1/S2, and I feel like if they didn’t make a ship cannon in S3 at all, then we wouldn’t had so much unnecessary drama.
I don't see it as a flaw... and what people don't realize is that starco isn't a subplot. It has always been prominent and has been a driver for a lot of the lore-related events of the show, especially in season 2. I think of starco (and shipping as a whole) and lore as co-plots, because they really do seem to be 50/50 in terms of which aspect of the show is "dominant."
I love how modern cartoons start out as cute, innocent shows and then end up having deep lore and a whole lot of feels; examples including Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, and especially Star vs the Forces of Evil. Shit got real in those.
What Tim said. I'd love to see Hirsch give some more screen time to Gravity Falls, but his creative control is what has allowed the cult following to only grow. It's so rare that a creator takes such control from cradle to grave for their project- because they usually refuse to accept that the grave will come at some point, so they may as well choose when.
Same, I've been watching since it started. i remember sitting in front of my tv in January 2015 putting the show on series record on the DVR. I was 9 then, and i'm 13 now. Time has flown. People don't even use DVRs anymore. I love svtfoe sooo much :)

I really don't think this show is anything like gravity falls. The plot, the atmosphere, it just isn't anything like it to me. Not that that's a bad thing, i actually prefer this show over gravity falls. It's more my type. Not to mention shipping is a huge deal in this show, as much a deal as the lore (they kinda depend on each other) so, TheOtherGuy, if you're just starting out and want this to be gravity falls... it isn't, to me
That Other Guy I think the only similarity between each of the show is the apparent change in story telling from season 1 to its last/recent Both shows were childish and funny.Its wasn't serious until each show's respective season finale (Star:The wand being corrupted) (Gravity Falls:the mystery of whatever was in the vault of "Stanford" Pines.)
I remember Disney XD showing the intro as a commercial for the show and listening to it while on my PC and i remember the song just HOOK me and turn my complete attention to it and i INSTANTLY fell in love with it, the animation, the flow of the intro from dimension to dimension the way the song and the animation telling me " hey this show is about magic, its about going to different world, we are going to have fun and you are going to love it. . . . . .i REALLY love this show and am sad that the 4th season will be the last
I was so mad at that! I was hoping that the credits would've finished rolling and we see the two of them standing on the tower in the ending of episodes in season 3/4 together instead of Star alone, that would've been the best ending to the show. No one can change my mind

I love what star vs the forces of evil became. I wish it was on another channel so it could continue, because you know Disney never let's it go beyond a few seasons. I'm wayyyy to old and probably not even the target gender, but it's just a great show. The lighter episodes make me laugh, and the serious episodes are just suspenseful. Need to bring it back.

I had never even heard of this show, but it looks utterly delightful! I'm fairly grateful to this channel for making me aware of the greatness of animated television.
I started watching Star in May 2020 and I finished it in October. As someone who grew up with shows like Gravity Falls (which I of course love) I was aching for a new animated adventure. I had heard about Star when it was still airing, but I was too busy watching Stranger Things and Atypical in my pre teen years, to notice. As soon as I turned 10 (July 2016) I immediately gave up on cartoons. Not completely, since Gravity Falls was kind of my first introduction to the horror genre. (I am a huge horror movie fan, now!) Then when quarantine started and all the hot new TV-14 shows were either boring or I had already watched them, (my favorites at the time being Stranger Things, Atypical, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Everything Sucks!, On my block, etc) i rewatched Gravity Falls and fell in love all over again. I immediately wanted more. I don’t remember how or why I came across Star but I had heard of it before. I started watching in May and then stopped after the first five or so episodes. I came back to it, soon after my 14th birthday and was OBSESSED. I binged the 70 or so episodes I had left in two months! This show suprised me with how emotionally mature the characters were being and taught me many life lessons which helped me out of some rough patches. It also was so bubbly and cute! I was less depressed and it benefited my mental health a lot. The finale made me cry because I wasn’t ready for it to end. I’m so glad that it’s as popular as it is now. Star kinda got me back into watching animation. I thought that since I was a teen, I was too old to watch cartoons and that the plots were all immature or dumb. Since then I’ve watched The Owl House which is an absolutely phenomenal show, Over the garden wall which is an amazing mini series, She-Ra which I literally binged in a week, Steven Universe which I’m not really into and it might not be my thing but I’m going to keep watching and see. I’ve even stated watching anime! I know this is a long comment but I wanted to share how much cartoons can mean to people!

I started watching Star in May 2020 and I finished it in October. As someone who grew up with shows like Gravity Falls (which I of course love) I was aching for a new animated adventure. I had heard about Star when it was still airing, but I was too busy watching Stranger Things and Atypical in my pre teen years, to notice. As soon as I turned 10 (July 2016) I immediately gave up on cartoons. Not completely, since Gravity Falls was kind of my first introduction to the horror genre. (I am a huge horror movie fan, now!) Then when quarantine started and all the hot new TV-14 shows were either boring or I had already watched them, (my favorites at the time being Stranger Things, Atypical, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Everything Sucks!, On my block, etc) i rewatched Gravity Falls and fell in love all over again. I immediately wanted more. I don’t remember how or why I came across Star but I had heard of it before. I started watching in May and then stopped after the first five or so episodes. I came back to it, soon after my 14th birthday and was OBSESSED. I binged the 70 or so episodes I had left in two months! This show suprised me with how emotionally mature the characters were being and taught me many life lessons which helped me out of some rough patches. It also was so bubbly and cute! I was less depressed and it benefited my mental health a lot. The finale made me cry because I wasn’t ready for it to end. I’m so glad that it’s as popular as it is now. Star kinda got me back into watching animation. I thought that since I was a teen, I was too old to watch cartoons and that the plots were all immature or dumb. Since then I’ve watched The Owl House which is an absolutely phenomenal show, Over the garden wall which is an amazing mini series, She-Ra which I literally binged in a week, Steven Universe which I’m not really into and it might not be my thing but I’m going to keep watching and see. I’ve even stated watching anime! I know this is a long comment but I wanted to share how much cartoons can mean to people!
