How would YOU rate the difficulty of Die Rise, compared to other maps in Zombies history? 🤔 Edit: Okay so the jumping jack crawlers were for not missing a shot instead of from taking no damage!
Absolutely fire map, anyone who dislikes it only dislike it because it takes a little skill, the tighter maps were always better than the ones with big open areas, this map wasn't a punishment it was a blessing
This map was a blast with friends, even when shit went horribly wrong. All except when your friends blocks you from making that jump to the other building by the dragon. Yeah, fuck you connor, I still remember
That’s crazy, my best bud did the same thing and his name is Connor, we played this map when we were 12-13, we’re 22-23 now. We’re playing black ops 6 zombies, we did the liberty falls EE and terminus before directed mode.
@@CahtahHartlol I gotta buddy like that we only did liberty falls though. We both wanted to do terminus before director mode came out but work lol. And plus grinding camos I wanted to get all my guns ready to do special camos and then go do whatever I needed on terminus with the parasites and shit lol
I disagree. I think there are some inherent design flaws. Obviously I haven’t played it in forever because when black ops two came out. I was a kid. I think I was 15 or something. And I did not like it. I didn’t like the random elevators perks thought most of my deaths were cheap But Maybe if I pick it up again and play it I might have a different opinion because that seems to be the case with a lot of games that I didn’t like now that I’m older. I enjoy them more
Facts nothing but skill issue, if you can't play on tighter maps that require a bit of finesse you ain't good at zombies, it's not hard to find big open spaces and circle but there isn't much space for that on this map, skill is 100% the reason ppl hate the map
This is my favorite map ever. I love the risk in design and no other map plays like it. Some people are too quick to not give it a chance because of that. Good job covering it :)
Im a huge fan of this map as well, loved the spring traps! They were amazing for flinging yourself into tight spots or to fling you across the gaps in the map.
@@bigbrisk8423I wouldn’t say they are bad it’s just a very polarizing map a lot of people don’t enjoy it because it’s an acquired taste that has a lot of different components that other zombies maps don’t usually have and it’s understandable why people don’t enjoy it as much

Jokes on Treyarch, the sliquifier was one of the most broken wonder weapons we ever seen. You could stand next to a corner on a ledge, shoot one shot of the sliquifier, and watch all the zombies fall of the ledge for several rounds.
I always liked die rise, something about the way the map looks and how fun it was to use sliquifier will always be one of my favorite childhood memories
Remember the big where you could sit in that corner by the stairs? I can’t remember where at but you could legit just sit there and slick the zombies and they couldn’t lay a finger on you lol good times man
This map was a game changer for serious crews. You had to have a hardened lineup to accomplish anything on it. Had some of the best games with my crew at the time on this map.
Die rise was my first ever dlc map. Found it sick af with how you had to traverse the map n just the overall vibe of it. I still got love for it to this day
The only real downside of Die Rise was the wonder weapon (which would have been amazing on any other map). They gave us a wonder weapon that made the ground slick on the one map where fall damage was a threat
It does infinite damage, I think it's super fair to have the sliquifier on this map. That's what makes it great, yeah it's awesome but you also have to be careful with it and think before you act.
@walk-monkey I wouldn't say it's infinite cause you can keep on multiplying the amount of damage you do with each shot, so it's not infinite, but basically is, cause you can exponentially increase it whenever.
Die rise was fuckin DOPE. Yes the map was usually trying to kill you somehow, but you had tools around to deal with things. For example falling off a building and losing all your shit SUCKS, until you learn you can come back, get a semi auto sniper off the wall and abuse a permanent perk that gives extra points for sniper kills. Making it easy to build yourself up again.
Die Rise was my favorite zombies map back in the bo2 days. I remember my friend an I getting to round 45 on split screen. Took us like 3-4 hours lol Good times
As being an OG Veteran in Zombies and been playing since WaW.. This map doesn’t get the love and appreciation it should’ve gotten. This is also one of the hardest Easter eggs I ever had to achieve only because the timing with the elevators your Team had to be on point at the very second . MANY HOURS was spent of this map being crushed in elevators shafts lol . Not to mention Using the Sniper on the roof to get Your Long shot which provided extra points for headshot kills. Die Rise was a perfect map I would die for a remaster on bo6
Imagine you're not allowed to dislike [insert any unpopular map] without some keyboard warrior desperately trying to gatekeep it und using their last braincells to somehow gaslight people into thinking it's a "skill issue". How old are you? 12? Literally the main criticism for this map is the boring visuals und endless waiting for elevators. Same with Tranzit. It's hilarious how defensive you get over it. Immaturity at its best.

This is the only zombies map where I simply gave up before memorizing the layout in solo. I played the map twice in co-op, but that was only because I thought I was playing a different map and my teammates bait and switched me into playing this one instead. It was tolerable in co-op as only a fraction of the zombies come after you when compared to solo.

A modern remake of Die Rise would suck ass because the new zombies devs have absolutely no clue how to make a zombies map cohesive with the old round based formula. They have proven with every new modern zombies release that they replaced every dev that understood how to make a classic style zombies map with new designers that only know how to make open world games where the only true challenge is turning the zombie spawn rate up indefinitely.
