Angelina, this is beautiful and angelic. If this is what heaven looks and sounds like, I need to be a lot nicer! Kanami's gossamer lace actually look like an angel's wings. She also takes us soaring into the heavens with that solo! WOW!!!!!

For some reason this song gets me so emotional, even before Kanami's solo, which really kills me and her looking like an angel. Daydreaming is a very similar song, but it never effected me in this way. Love everything about this video.

Hi Angelina, this song was co written with Mike Einziger founder of Incubus. they met at Pointfest Festival last year in St Louis and became friends. last night (May 1st)in Japan BAND-MAID were special guests of Incubus and Mike Einziger performed the song Bestie with the Maids for a world live premiere during their opening act. Saiki selected the outfits for the Bestie video. The Maids have a new album dropping in the summer. I think we will get the date of the release on May 10 when they do the annual Day Of Maid Onkyu ji where they put on a special show and usually make future announcements. also I expect a collab with The Warning as they are doing a special show with BAND-MAID on June 12 in Japan during the Warning Japan tour. cheers
Such a pleasure to enjoy Band-Maid with a kindred soul. I wouldn't want all of their songs to be in this style, but for this song I love that guitar tone, the layered harmonies, Mincho's solo, the great vibe and the way the bass just POPS when I'm wearing my headphones/earbuds.

Saiki’s battle armour is akin to what a mental patient might wear in the asylum dayroom. Akane is wearing an outfit with a medieval priest yoke collar. She is dressed as if she needs to return to the penitent cell of the Abbey after her concert 😮
