You boys got some catchin' up to do for sure. Although this was a collaboration with Incubus, Band-Maid still put their stamp on it. I'm quite sure the collab and being in all-English is their focus to get some air time especially here in the States. Good seeing you guys again. BTW- The song does have sub-titles even though it in English.......Saiki is getting there with here English but sub-titles are still needed.......bless her heart.
Just personally speaking, I feel the heavy accent adds some charm and mystery. I enjoy One OK Rock and Ellegarden for example, but if you didn't know better you'd think the singers were from Southern California, so I actually feel like I'm missing a little of the specialness of any foreign band with them.
Good to see you guys again, especially reacting to Band-Maid. I didn't catch you guys reacting to the four songs that Band-Maid released from their Yokohama Tenth Anniversary Tour finale on You/tube. "Bestie" is a change of pace from their hard rocking sound, yet, I feel, it fits perfectly in Band-Maid's wheelhouse. No one genre can define the Maids and I'm thankful for it. I jokingly say that if this is what heaven looks and sounds like, I had better clean up my act! The video is beautiful in so many ways, ethereal, and even angelic. Kanami takes us soaring into the heavens with her "angel wings".
It's been a while...but welcome back Master of HMS. Looking forward to you seeing some of the 10th Anniversary Yokohama live video releases. PO!🕊 WORKD DOMINATION!!!🤘😆🤘
I like it. They look better but the music in my opinion hasn't changed. It's still the same formula but nothing outstanding from everything else they've done. Maybe I'm hoping for too much but an aggressive change or something tweeked would suit them well. But all that being said I still liked it.
@@motley22crue Some other fans corrected me and said that the song is actually written by Mike and the lyrics by Miku. I don't know how much Kanami was involved in the writing process but the bassline, drum and solo sound quite band maid to me, though.
Saiki: "The off-white color worn by the members signifies the expectation for the future progress. I hope everyone can imagine how it will be colored and enjoy it together." Also Saiki, "When I listen to "Bestie", I get the image of traveling in the wilderness. I wanted to feel the same scenery and immerse myself in the world of the song with them, which is also expressed in the music video." @saiki_bandmaid 🦍🍌 FYI, this is a new collab song with Mike Einziger (Incubus), Po! Expect a little 😈when they collab with The Warning. All should be included in their new full album due out this Summer, Po! PS, Kanami's solo is akin to her Daydreaming solo >😭, and Akane + Kanami's backing vocals😇
This song grows everytime you listen it. Great great song about frienship. And of course Kanami’s solo is Magical 🔥🤘❤️
👍👍Awesome MV and performance. One of my favorites by BAND-MAID. 🖖❤
band maid can trigger your emotional musical overdrive

@@stevehall5128Imho Klaus from Skorpions is pretty much the sweet spot for accent vs. being understandable.

The music is written by Mike from Incubus, maybe that's they didn't make too many aggressive changes to the overall structure of the song.
@@Mikupigeon Co-written.
