When you hear Led Zeppelin live you really understand the almost telepathic connection between Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham, and then have Robert Plant almost surfing on their wall of sound
So glad you’re reacting to this! 😊 I commented previously that you have to hear this song; it’s so awesome! Awesome reaction! I was dancing along with you 😊
One f the great things about growing up listening to Led Zeppelin was that you never knew what was next. Every album was full of surprises and none of them sounded like the previous one. Yet, it was still Led Zeppelin.
Watching videos of live Zeppelin is just raw and filthy perfection. ❤ Sorry I was too young to see them live on stage. It had to be the ultimate experience. ❤
I was too young to see Led Zeppelin but I was blessed to see Robert and Jimmy when they visited Australia on their No Quarter tour in ‘95. Kashmir and Nobody’s Fault But Mine were particularly outstanding with the Moroccan instrumentals mixing with all the greatness.
Thanks for reacting to another Led Zep song !! They are truly the best, and Robert Plant’s voice just drives me crazy 😜 Jimmy, John Paul & John B just take you to outer space 🪐 when you see them perform live it is the absolute best 💎💎🧨🚀🎸🥁🎸☮️
the full whole lotta love from madison square garden 1973 is UNMATCHED UNMATCHED cant wait til you get there !!cause i know KNOW your gonna LOVE LOVE THIS
I'm so sorry you never grew up with this great band!! It was a pleasure to see your reaction to this great music. Led Zeppelin did it all. Keep enjoying your journey through this great music ✌️ and ❤️!!!!!!
I'm leaving this world listening to music the greatest Blues Rock band in history, saw them play Perth early 70s, my lung cancer has caught up with me, bye bye Brainsqueeze as I'm having Voluntary assited dying next Saturday. It's OK everyone I've had 82 wonderful years, happily married 61 years, 3 grown children, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Not bad eh ! All you Rockers out there Rock your Socks off. Bye from Perth Australia 😎👋🎶🎵🎶🖐 PS. The love you take is equal to the love you make...
This was sort of live, recorded at BBC studios, in front of a live audience. It was released as it's own triple CD set, originally as 'Travelling Riverside Blues'. This was very early in their career together. Remember, they were essentially a blues band, and this is out & out Mississippi Delta blues with that steel acoustic. They went on to confuse everybody, as they delved into folk, & heavy riffs [ & reggae! ] & anything else that took their fancy. You'll know for sure when you get to the live concert performances on dvd [ Royal Albert Hall, Madison Square Garden, Earls Court, & Knebworth ] and the O2 . When you get there, you'll know, because your brain will dissolve. If they were great in the studio, they were nothing less than awesome on stage. Be sure to have a new brain on order from ebay first.
While on early live material, check out Pink Floyd, from their 'Ummagumma' album ( Disc 1, the live section. Disc 2 is mostly 3-4 joint material, so best left for another day ).
I’m 62 years “young” and I have had the honor of seeing “Zeppy” in 1977 twice in one week in NYC! But this song wasn’t released until after Bonzo passed away. It is my favorite “Zeppy” song. Are you sure you aren’t a New York native? We use profanity all the time and no one cares. BTW, this song was written by a blues master named Robert Johnson in the 1920’s. I ADORE your reactions! And I ADORE Led Zeppelin. ❤
The Travelling Riverside Blues is an ol' Robert Johnson blues number that never appeared on any Zeppelin album (much to my annoyance as a young man, it was a nightmare to get hold of before the internet). What a tune.
Have a bootleg album from 1970 of the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus that included this song on it . Just happened by chance to spot it at our local record store who carried bootleg albums.
One of my favorite LZ tunes. I would also recommend The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair. Also from the BBC sessions. Will totally blow you away. In a good way 😂
If you aren't listening to Zep live you are missing out. They are the one band that is better live because of all the adlibs. I've been dying to see you react to live LZ. 💛💛💛
My favourite Led Zeppelin song by a mile! I remember watching one of the chart shows that used to be on tv in the early hours of the morning, I think it was 1991 and this came on. It must have been re-released then. Still love it and have it as the ringtone on my phone.
THESE ARE GREAT FROM MSG 1973 ITS ON FILM ON U TUBE /since i been lovin yoy/no quarter/ the song remains the same AND the rain song (together no break live } most of alll the full whole lotta love medlley that ended this historic event i'll be waiting to see you peel yourself off the ceiling...luv ya
Squuuueeeezzze my BRAIN till the juice runs down my head!! Love it! Another banger from the champs, listened to with more enthusiasm than should be possible from a human, but yet is still appropriate for Zeppelin, haha!! Good stuff as always, man, thanks!
Spot on Brain. Keep exposing the kids today to some of the greatest rock music ever written and performed. ❤️❤️❤️🥃🥃🥃 PS: you make me laugh and smile. Need it now more than ever?
Love your passion for Led Zep and the discovery you've been on. I feel you hit a rich vain of quality with those guys but I haven't seen any reactions to The Who. Maybe you have reacted but I've missed that. Seriously they are a bit different. They break a few rules of music but they strike me as a band you will like. Start with The Quadrophenia album and a track called The Real Me. You may relate. They've done loads mate.
If you will, 1969 Danish TV, Led Zeppelin, the very, very early days. They all look like babies but the music is utterly fantastic. Robert Plant’s voice is at his best IMHO. He’s 20 years old. So is John Bonham.
Possibly greatest live song, which is very difficult to pick, but the guitar solo is just ridiculous. (I'm assuming you from msg song remains the same?)
You always react so intensly to their blues songs I think you need to listen to old blues songs like Howlin Wolf but then I think why? Zeppelin does blues on the next level. And I think live Zeppelin is just looser which makes it better. Ok some live aren't so good especially when Jimmy was addicted or they were just too burnt out but in my opinion Zeppelin live is epic
Hi Mark love the channel and your reactions !! Love to see you I react to Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing but it has to be the live Alchemy version for an awesome guitar solo and crazy drumming !!!
Mate, you like blues...that is clear...so i'll give you a tip...you need to check out the Aussie band, Cold Chisel. Start with their live version of "Bow River" live Ringside. We'll talk more after that...they began in the 70's playing Zeppelin and Creedence covers but fuck that, they have one of Australia's greatest songwriters in their band so they chose to just kill their originals. Oh, did i mention they have 2 lead singers with gold voices? Of course i didn't because you need to check it out to appreciate it..I'm just some Aussie convict who seems biased towards his own country's bands? I'm an Aussie and should have been a convict but i'm not biased about Chisel. Love your reactions mate.
Man, I know you’ve heard from me before you have to listen Pink Floyd,“One of these days” and “ several small species of furry animals gathered in a cave and grooving with a picture”
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
When you hear Led Zeppelin live you really understand the almost telepathic connection between Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham, and then have Robert Plant almost surfing on their wall of sound
You REALLY hear that on Achilles’ Last Stand! In spades!
@w.geoffreyspaulding6588 Yes, such a great song to demonstrate how they used to interact, Mark should hit that soon
Best summary of live Zeppelin I’ve heard - surfing on their wall of sound, love it!!
Saw them live in 72, unbelievable
One of their best blues covers from the early days. I love to jam to this on guitar. Wish it was longer.
Finally! You got to another great one by the Mighty Led Zeppelin. I was another that was trying to get you to give this one a listen. 👍👍
Blues with a funky drum beat, love it 😎
LZ does it all. Boys should have been born on the Louisiana bayou. Best band ever. ❤😊
All the BBC Sessions songs from Led Zeppelin are excellent.
Hard to go too far wrong with Led Zep.
Honestly mate Achilles Last Stand 👍
Watching videos of live Zeppelin is just raw and filthy perfection. ❤ Sorry I was too young to see them live on stage. It had to be the ultimate experience. ❤
I was too young to see Led Zeppelin but I was blessed to see Robert and Jimmy when they visited Australia on their No Quarter tour in ‘95. Kashmir and Nobody’s Fault But Mine were particularly outstanding with the Moroccan instrumentals mixing with all the greatness.
Such a beautifully authentic reaction to one of my favorite LED Zep performances!!! Fuck yeah!!!!
Keep doing what you're doing. The music is what it is all about!!! 🙂
Thanks for reacting to another Led Zep song !! They are truly the best, and Robert Plant’s voice just drives me crazy 😜 Jimmy, John Paul & John B just take you to outer space 🪐 when you see them perform live it is the absolute best 💎💎🧨🚀🎸🥁🎸☮️
the full whole lotta love from madison square garden 1973 is UNMATCHED UNMATCHED cant wait til you get there !!cause i know KNOW your gonna LOVE LOVE THIS
That little walk- down on the guitar is later repurposed to GREAT effect in For Your Life, from Presence. A MUST listen. L❤️VE!
DUDE ! You are such a blast to hang out with on these reactions. Love your energy and personality.
Welcome to Led Zeppelin and all their goodness.
Phenomenal reaction to an amazing performance. Love the expletives that punctuate your appreciation for the music!
I'm so sorry you never grew up with this great band!! It was a pleasure to see your reaction to this great music. Led Zeppelin did it all. Keep enjoying your journey through this great music ✌️ and ❤️!!!!!!
Fond memories... flowing out to the back field with friends and Zeppelin.Excellent Jam ❤️

You could go through the BBC sessions track by track, & fill your stream for weeks.
Recorded live with some overdubs by Page the following day i believe...Just WOW!
@@pauldarrigo8842 Correct, essentially live with the guitar solo overdubbed.
I have a memory of hearing this concert broadcast , one Saturday or Sunday afternoon, on BBC R1.
First live you should watch is “I can’t quit you baby” from Royal Albert hall 1970. Amazing.
Awesome reaction! I feel the same way about this nasty dirty tune!
I’m 62 years “young” and I have had the honor of seeing “Zeppy” in 1977 twice in one week in NYC! But this song wasn’t released until after Bonzo passed away. It is my favorite “Zeppy” song. You keep being yourself and don't forget to do Tea for one by Led Zeppelin it's almost ten minutes long but you will love every second of it
You need to see anything from the Royal Albert hall 1970 live concert,it will blow you away!!😊
I wore out every Led Zeppelin album. Enjoy the Led journey. You got to go looney on a band called Yes and a song called Roundabout. 🍁
That's what made them different from all other bands. You don't listen to Led Zeppelin songs, you experience Led Zeppelin songs!
Got to love JPJ on that funky bass line as well!
I had the privilege of seeing Led Zeppelin in concert August 1977 in Oakland California and they are the coolest band ever😊
😎THE GOATS OF GOATS! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes! Led Zeppy! Hear the studio first, then do live. Live is another level. Your reactions are the best!! More Led Zeppelin please ❤️❤️❤️
The Travelling Riverside Blues is an ol' Robert Johnson blues number that never appeared on any Zeppelin album (much to my annoyance as a young man, it was a nightmare to get hold of before the internet). What a tune.

One of my favorite zeppelin songs

Just so badass 😊
I saw Led Zepplin at Keezar stadium in 1973. I will let you know when my mind comes back .
Led Zeppy on a binge day!!!!! Hey Hector, I'm here for it!!!!!💜💜💜
You bring back memories of listening to this shit driving, smoking and loving this with my son.
My favourite Led Zeppelin song by a mile! I remember watching one of the chart shows that used to be on tv in the early hours of the morning, I think it was 1991 and this came on. It must have been re-released then. Still love it and have it as the ringtone on my phone.
They did overdubs for the album BBC sessions.

My favorite live from Zeppelin is MSG 1973!
Squuuueeeezzze my BRAIN till the juice runs down my head!! Love it! Another banger from the champs, listened to with more enthusiasm than should be possible from a human, but yet is still appropriate for Zeppelin, haha!! Good stuff as always, man, thanks!

You want freak out on Led Zeppy drums....try "Fool in The Rain"
If you will, 1969 Danish TV, Led Zeppelin, the very, very early days. They all look like babies but the music is utterly fantastic. Robert Plant’s voice is at his best IMHO. He’s 20 years old. So is John Bonham.
This songs a groovin jam. 😎
All the Zepp recordings are made with drums, bass and guitar base togheter.
Do more live stuff, they are far better live than in the studio. First off Achilles Last Stand' from Knebworth.
Plant was genius in a band with three other geniuses.
"She ain't but 16, but, but she's my rider......
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Want a journey??? No Quarter live will change you
Possibly greatest live song, which is very difficult to pick, but the guitar solo is just ridiculous. (I'm assuming you from msg song remains the same?)
Good I love your reactions ❤️👍👏
so in other songs if he mentions lemons and we don't know what he's talkin about, now we know

I love the haters. They make me love you more.
I like the way you’re keeping it awesome.
You always react so intensly to their blues songs I think you need to listen to old blues songs like Howlin Wolf but then I think why? Zeppelin does blues on the next level. Don’t worry about criticism lad, I’m 47 and don’t give 2 honest fuks wat people think of me, it’s the privilege of self assurance,🇬🇧👍
Lol, if you ever get the time or chance check out led zeppelin kashmir celebration day live 'epic'!! WITH JOHN BONHANS SON ON DRUMS.
I think little Robert Anthony liked this because they had a 13yr old groupie that he was waiting for her to turn 16 so she could be his rider.
Hi Mark love the channel and your reactions !! Love to see you I react to Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing but it has to be the live Alchemy version for an awesome guitar solo and crazy drumming !!!

Mark, have you tried prog-rock yet? Maybe Tom Sawyer by Rush?
now ADHD is a "THING"- this guy is praying for a backhand
This isn't live this is a studio recording
It was recorded live but the solo was overdubbed.
It is live but the solo is an overdub.
Man, I know you’ve heard from me before you have to listen Pink Floyd,“One of these days” and “ several small species of furry animals gathered in a cave and grooving with a picture”
PROMISE you’ll do some Zeppie live?? Huh? Huh? Huh? 😁😉
❤😊
Want a great live reaction ?? I suggest Achilles Last Stand from Knebworth 79 .. You will fall right off your chair 💺
When he’s talking about his “rider”, I hope you realize he’s talkin’ ‘bout his current lady friend…..😉
😮❤😅😊
