One of my Favorite Zeppelin numbers, it's something from another dimension. This band is had something nobody could explain. I think they knew it. I know a lot of bands were good, even great but this band is beyond understanding.

Hi M. Saw them in '73, (yes, l'm old,) they played for 90 minutes; Robert Plant said "Good evening", then they played another 90 minutes. Seeing them in person is shocking. They pulverize anything that's in their way..the musicianship is astonishing..in addition, they go all out ..they earn every standing ovation. I've seen lots of music, but l've never seen any band like them ..4 men blending into one...wish it would've lasted longer, but l am so grateful to witness the finest band in history.

There was a moment in time during the 70s when Led Zeppelin were the absolute best - no comparison. Plants vocals were in another space, and the band was just solid with so much feel. The band instinctively knew 'when to do what' that moved your soul. I watch your reaction and that is vindication for those thoughts lol. And yes ... The Rain Song is amazing.

It's like a sci fi song that came to life. Talk about spacey. Another great tune by the mighty Zeppelin. Check out In My Time of Dying or Tea For One... no one ever reacts to the latter but it's a nice, long slow burning blues tune.

Brilliant choice of song and brilliant reaction! It's 1am here in Wales and it was great to see you react to our wonderful flag (I'm not a flag fan normally but, hey, it's got a massive red dragon on it so what's not to love?!). I'd forgotten the huge cathedral organ and the shots of Robert at home on his Welsh farm with his wife and kids and, while I'd love to see the film of what Jimmy and Bonzo are doing during that epic middle piece, seeing the images of them all being delivered letters at their homes telling them about the US tour they were about to go on made me smile. Now I have to get the film out and watch it as it's been a few years!

Mr. Detrucci, I have now listened and watched several of your Led Zeppelin reactions and I just wanted to say that you are a delight to watch! I am 76 years old and was fortunate in that I got to see and experience Zeppelin in Concert 5 times and will, of course, always treasure those experiences. I wish you could have experienced them in concert. While listening to cds are great, as are videos, still, being at a live Zeppelin concert is without comparison. There is so much happening with the power of their sound as it reverberates throughout the venue that absolutely can not be captured on a mere recording. Their concerts often lasted over 3 hours and I can tell you from my experience that the audiences were many times quite stunned...quite "dazed and confused"! This is the first time that I have ever commented on a site like this but I just had to let you know how much fun I have had watching and listening to your reactions. So, Mr. Detrucci , thanks and I can tell from watching you that you are really having a great time!
Should you ever want to try something really different, might I suggest you give a listen and watch Luciano Pavarotti sing Nessun Dorma. The best version is from The Three Tenors Concert from 1994. While it may not be your kind of music, still his voice is, in my opinion, magnificent and unparalleled. Give it a try.. I would love to see your reaction.
Again, Mr. Detrucci, thank you for your entertaining reactions!!!! Larry

I was 13 years old when I got to see this movie I live in San Diego we waited in line for an hour and a half the people behind us did not get in. In those days there were no videos just Cream Magazine and some other magazines. Rolling Stone magazine the piece of crap magazine did not like a Led Zeppelin. So getting to see them it felt like a concert the system they had in the theater was just beautiful. It's beautiful to watch you doing this absolutely but imagine you're 13 years old and you're in the theater watching it you think you are on top of the world. 1976 when they released it. The best time to be a kid the music was insane.

I watched another reaction and she proclaimed Robert and Jimmy had "potential"! I just started laughing. 50 years late on her editorial I would say!

A great reaction to a great band I agree with many other people there are so many other songs that you would totally enjoy doing Gallows Pole and Battle of Evermore are both great but for me there are no bad Led Zep songs

The concert was filmed in 73 but the movie wasn't released until 76 I think. Not sure when the footage of the fantasy sequences, like with the members with their families, was filmed.

Never understood the big deal with that version. It's really good but for me it's never been anywhere near Led Zeppelin's studio version. Not even close for me.

I love both version's of the song myself. No comparison only greatness. I had the privilege to grow up enjoying both bands and many more since. Music is Our heavenly conscious we have all been gifted. In all it's heavenly musical art. It's why our hearts have a beat.😊

Tools version is amazing, close to the studio version of this. But this live version is just beyond anything.

You can find even more amazing bootlegs of No Quarter with longer sections of the JPJ/Bonham drums/piano part, all of these guys have a genius level inate muscianship that cannot be taught or learned.

In the light is one of their more progressive songs. Also very similar to no quarter in the moodiness.
