yeah, I think even on ten quaaludes he would still be going nuts watching THAT one! Sadly, and i may be wrong, i understand that youtube has totally removed that particular, classic, epic version of "dazed."
If you think this is mind blowing-which it is-try the LIVE version of Whipping Post by the Allman Brothers with Dwayne Allman. He taught Eric Clapton slide guitar. He was inspiration for quite a few guitarists.
Finally!!! I have waited for you to do the live version of this. You can't explain it to anyone who hasn't experienced this song live. Led Zep IS better live. You are absolutely correct this is a masterpiece of music. Loved watching you experience this. 💜💜💜😁
Please, please, please…..more live Zep! Even if they block the video…..we can still see it here even when it’s obscured….(we’ve all seen it dozens of times anyway to be truthful) and watching your reaction to them live is just PRICELESS! Yes, you got Zeppelin before…..but now you really GET Zeppelin. It’s the energy, the charisma, how synched all four of them are. You really gotta see them to truly appreciate what they were.
You did it absolutely correct by starting with the studio recordings first. That gave you understanding and appreciation for the magic within their songs before witnessing the artistry of Led Zeppelin live. Great reaction. More Studio, then live recordings of one of the greatest bands that ever was (next to the Beatles of course). Peace
This song is a fucking masterpiece. Back in 1973 I bought my first 8-track tape with this song on it - even with the primitive audio provided by my parents’ hi-fi, the hair on the back of my neck stood up! I feel sorry for younger generations that didn’t have this music to cut their teeth on.
Absolutely loved your reaction to this live performance. Agree with you. There are no words that can adequately describe their magnificence, especially live. Truly the GOATS.
To answer your final question and to tell you of any artist or band that has power to the degree that Led Zeppelin does.....there simply isn't anyone....period.
This filled me with so much joy - your rapture for this masterpiece, one of my all time favourite live performances, mirrors my own every time I watch it
The reason led zeppelin will be listened to forever is because every new generation that discovers them all experience the same awe we did back in the 70s (and some even the 60s). But it sounds as good to a 20 year old in 2023 as it did in 1973. Its purely timeless.
@brainsqueezereactions I was a tad worried that when you saw them live you might have a heart attack. This particular song live is as you say, a masterpiece. I was a teenager during Led Zeppelin’s reign and I would have done almost anything to have met one of them. As it was, I was a puddle of sheer lust. Especially for Robert and Jimmy 😍😍. Welcome to the club of Led Zep worship. Studio albums are incredible but, live, it’s a whole different animal. The charisma, the sex appeal, the mood, the music, damn. I know how lucky I am to have been a part of this special time. More Led Zeppy - and I’m sure you will get plenty of live concert requests. I think you are ready for them now. Peace ✌🏻 ☮️
I hope you were lucky enuf to have seen them live. I just missed'em, dammit, not being a full fledged Zep freak until 1979, just before the tragic dis-banding. Hector has said numerous times he is crazy about Bonzo's drums (Well, duh.) I've recommended "In my time of dying" a few times for just that reason. Studio version, where they really thunder! But the live version(s) are so fire, too, with Robert's charisma, especially in the "slow" beginning, turned up full blast!
OMG... you. were. there????? That is a pinnacle of life as we know it. That would have been one of the top experiences of my life to be there. Lucky, lucky you. I do get to have a drink with Robert at the local from time to time tho. Great story teller... totally entranced when he shares.
@@greenphoenix687 You have had a drink with him!!!!!!???? I'd say THAT is the highest pinnacle of any fan's lifelong dream...I know it's been mine for decades. I can't even imagine. Lucky YOU! And yes, it was one of the top experiences of my life. ❤️👍
Robert Plant has the sexiest voice ever! Loved LZ since I was a kid! Now I’m a 60 y/o grandma and it still gives me goosebumps! Fun to see you enjoy the journey too! Just started catching up on some of your older reactions! Love your channel!❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻

Yes! I've been waiting for this one. To be honest, I was a bit worried this would be the one that actually made your head explode. Glad you took the risk for the rest of us! Every song from this movie/concert is absolutely brilliant, but this one is my all time favourite.
I was thinking before it started, "My man's never going to make it through this whole song..." 😆 But what's so interesting is the last 1/3 or so of the song, I think you were the most focused/calmest I've ever seen you reacting to a Zeppelin tune!! it's like it was SO INSANELY GOOD that it short circuited your adhd and hypnotized you for a few minutes. Awesome as always, love it!
Zep played so many styles and genre of music. They have a song for everyone no matter what music you like the most. They are the best ever. Keep reacting to their songs. try listening to Battle of evermore live with Natjima ?
Glad you’re enjoying…back before auto-tune, when live improvisation was abound. 4 individually stellar musicians that were even better as a whole. True musical synergy!!!
Imagine being 16, stoned and seeing this live twice in one week!!! I did. You know those tees you see everywhere with Icarus "United States Tour 1977" Yeah, that's the one. And "The Golden God" was my hormonal teenage fantasy!!! Then on July 4th (same year) I saw Pink Floyd, now Pink Floyd wasn't merely a concert it was an experience. I ADORE your reactions. BTW I AM from New York City so I saw them in Madison Square Garden (both bands). I love being a 70's kid!!
Been waiting for a live reaction to Led Zeppy. Being a huge fan for more than 50 years.. May I suggest "Kashmir" and Achilles Last Stand " live from Knebworth 79 .. Marc I actually believe these 2 songs will completely change your entire life .. Love your reactions bro

Thanks so much for spending some time doing the reactions, and I do hope they make you as happy as they seem to ... I'm a big fan. My only critique is that you don't spend your entire day doing reactions!
I'm so glad you got to experience this absolutely epic piece of musical history. Liquid blues, I call it. The Hammer of the Gods made it into eternity that night in 1973.
Bear in mind mate. Zeppelin live were improvising. This ain't rehearsed to death. When Page takes a solo he will never play it the same again. Different every night. Not always great, but when it was, it was brilliant. Check out the Immigrant Song off the live album How The West Was Won. It sounds like Bonham is trying to destroy his drum kit. As real as it gets.
Hell F’kn YEAH!! Clicked immediately when i saw you reacting to Led Zeppy playing my FAVORITE F’kn song since I was 14 years old (which was back in the late 70’s) - Rock on you brain squeezing mutha-fukha!! 🤘🏼🎧🤟🏼

Apart from one studio performance [ 'Battle of Evermore' ] they were only ever the group of four - no 'fill in musicians' on stage to cover the numerous overdubs that were layered on in the studio. They were all so attuned, so inside each others heads, that musically they functioned as one organism. A really great composer COULD write that piece out on paper, for another group of musicians to learn by rote, and perform; but, Robert, Jimmy, John-Paul, & John just did that, spontaneously, night after night. It's why, when John died, they KNEW that they couldn't just carry on with a different drummer.

There will never be another artist who can even match this greatness. MARK YOU HAVE TO REACT TO "IN MY TIME OF DYING" by ZEPPELIN MAN! Another incredible tune that will blow your fucking mind! Bonhams drumming is simply incredible on this tune.
People say Jimmy Page is sloppy. But that's what makes him great he pushes himself to the edge but never falls and it keeps the listener entranced. Technically perfect guitar playing is sterile and musically barren

i think I have now enjoyed every Pink Floyd and Led Zepellin reactions you have done. I love your energy! Both groups are all time favorites of mine. live they were great! a couple of other groups that surely will blow your mind are: Yes; Roundabout is one of the well know songs Heart of the sunrise and close to the edge are all amazing as fuck. Maybe a detour through King Chrimson's song 21th century schzod man, from the court of the crimson king. THIS is why we say they were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
