"Heartbreaker" is a underappreciated (outside Zep fans) proto metal masterpiece. What a monster riff.

Funny, this is all JPJ for me: the bass is SO overdriven it breaks through above Jimmy in the mix at certain points, and carries the sort of James Brown/rap verses that Robert does. I just think of these enormous bass cabs on stage being thrashed within inches during this song lol.

Very strange to hear it just stop without going straight on into Living Loving Maid. But man I love your reaction,l; it's great that you really feel this stuff the same way that I felt it the first time I heard it all those decades ago. And it still is impossible for me to listen to this without moving to it. Like you say man, it is sexy and dirty. I have a lot of different favorite drummers from a lot of different kinds of music, but I would say that Bonzo is my all-time favorite. #RIP buddy.

Oh, I think I might’ve committed a crime or might die or something. This is the first time in my life I’ve ever heard heartbreaker without living, loving maid. With a purple umbrella, and a 50 Cent hat…. Oh, I know everyone told you already, but you must go listen to both of them together. You’ll be so happy you did. Living loving maid is about twice as fast as this song was that just go together like peanut butter and jelly. Not to worry I’ll go listen to it myself and feel much better I’m sure.
