I have been in a situation where a friend of mine car caught fire in front of us on the highway and neither of us had a fire extinguisher. Luckily ppl stopped and helped so it wasn't a disaster. Lesson learnt, every vehicle needs a fire extinguisher, even a small one
bro i was shopping for a cool mini fire extinguisher for my trunk this week, didnt find a sweet one yet. it also has to mount real clean.. you think to the bottom of the rear package tray? Or do you normally want it in the cabin rather than the trunk?
@@LastHumansGarage anywhere is better than nowhere, but it would look clean at the bottom of the package tray. I have 2 small ones strapped to the harness bar in my weekend car but I don't carry passengers in that. In your pristine S3 it needs to look clean. The color is really spectacular. Can only imagine how it looks in person

Bro, great episode, with twists and turns. Very solid 2nd install, this is bomb proof now. During the intro I thought you were going to say 'every time I walk in here I smell gas...' but that couldn't be the case as you hadn't installed the flex fuel yet... ;-)

After looking at your vid I went out and checked if the screws under the hood were rusted on my 2016 S3 - mine are in pristine condition after going through 5 Canadian winters - it's strange that yours are rusted like that.

That piece in the metal elbow of the fuel line is a check valve. I’ve found it a bit easier to remove the pcv hose if you remove the inlet first. There is enough room to twist the inlet and remove without removing pcv connector.
Sup burbles.. Ara blue is INSANE bro, right? Damn you must be 3s 0-60.. i love this 7 s[peed DSG. I have had 6-7 of the 6-speed DSG's since 2006. This is my first 7 speed. Way better, no stumbling each time you come to a stop, way faster shifts, i just love it. oh the PVC? actually i have the new hose coming today, just like i did on my last car. but the proper squeeze kind.. so i can mangle this one and i don't care. then ill install the unitronic elbow and a brand new PCV hose that won't seep after stretching it to and fro.

Is it possible to add 10% ethanol to the engine without the flex fuel sensor?
i wouldnt recommend it.. yes, its possible. but how would you even measure "10%" when you dont even have a sensor? The mix would gradually go wrong and you might mess up your car. a sensor isnt a big deal to install.
these clamps are not used for their intended purpose. over time they will sag, unlike spring clamps

Does the connector fit for the ground on the battery bolt?? I hear it doesn’t fit and the ground metal ring needs to be sheered off a bit to fit with that bolt
naw i prob used a different connector. or i cut the ring.
