George is all ways nervous at the end of the cruise! He doesn’t really like being aboard when we are moving the boat, he prefers to walk, so he thinks me we are trying it trick him into riding. He never trusts that the boat is going to stay put.
Thanks guys, life is very interesting at the moment getting around to doing stuff id put off for so long. Workshop all tidy even sharpened my chisels! Not gonna make s vlog about that. Some of the boat life blogs doing the rounds at the moment are so funny. Keep safe you three. Alan.
Very strange times indeed. We are moored on quite a busy tow path so are still putting off the jobs that we put off last year. Sounds like you are being very productive which is great. Keep safe too.
Nice to watch video from my mooring on Doncaster :) my small yacht was on movie so im happy with that. Maybe Could You do video with explain how locks are work? It could be nice to learn unexperienced people :)
Made this journey many times whilst being sort of stuck in this area for various reasons . Had the same problem at long sandall lock in what we thought was just a gentle breeze . The road at the lift bridge was closed later / earlier in the year and it was such a different place almost idyllic. Stay safe guys hope fully we will soon see some light at the end of the tunnel.
Hello from Ohio. Spring and lock down is here. Doing Ok, Sadie and I have plenty of things to do. We're a bit behind watching your videos though. Today, Sadie watched and "supervised" while I checked, greased, and washed down some of the equipment. Mostly she just wanted treats or wanted to know when we would go for a Gator run, otherwise she mostly napped on the shop floor or wandered around outside as I tested equipment. A 👍 as always! Sadie sends best regards to George!
Glad to know you guys are alright (from other comments below). Watching your vids is reassuring knowing that life was carrying on, and presumably will again one day. You are the canal version of Ambridge, which also seems to remain virus free. And thanks again Michael for your early explanation of how Corona works. Of course I still think of Corona as being a fizzy drink, which used to come in returnable bottles back in the 60s and 70s (I even seem to think they used to be delivered by the milkman, can that be right?). Returnable bottles delivered by electric floats/carts - now there's a thought. Good to know the body was a false alarm, but taken seriously.
Glad it was only a doll! Every time you mention chips I picture (U.S.) potato chips. I know your chips are our fries and our chips are your crisps...basically. English can be confusing 🤣
I like the time skip but a little to fast in some spots. Looks like you missed some pretty spots. For some reason I like watching Narrow Boating Vlogs. I'm from Wisconsin and we don't have any Canals near here.
Hi walleye364! I'm in central IL here, & I love these narrow boat vlogs too! I also watch Foxes Afloat, & sometimes Cruising the Cut - he has some "slow tv" ones where he just shows the boating trip going along the canals not at time lapse speeds & with no talking. Maybe Minimal List should consider doing some of those? But I certainly know you can't please everyone.
Yep, we caught up with them at the marina the next day! It’s probably easiest to walk to a petrol station and get a can of fuel. I’m sure someone would come out but you would pay a premium for it
Were you offered the doll once the police fished it out? Or was it taken for questioning? Nice short cruise, but it did look cold. Hope you're warming up by now.
@@MinimalList Of course it does (though I'm thrown by the oleo). But I'm in Texas and still looking for extra-mature cheddar cheese. Our "extra-sharp" cheddars are rubbery without a well defined curd. annoying.
"We hole everyone is well. J&G&M". Know what you mean and we all hole you three are well too. Have I missed something though? I mean, how did you fare during the floods and crap weather at the start of the year? Perhaps I just wasn't paying attention...
Nice short. George don’t look too happy after you picked up all the doggy poo :).

I don't think I would be best pleased clearing up after other dog owners. Stay safe, post what you can.
It’s either clean up after then or stand in it a guess!
Good video as usual. The cunning plan of falling three months behind to have videos in reserve is certainly proving its worth at the moment.
Absolutely
Thank you guys for continuing to put the fantastic content out during these bizarre times. It really means a lot and is greatly appreciated.
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching
Many thanks for sending us another great vlog. It's really appreciated.
Our pleasure!

stay safe the three of you
Thank you. You too!
Thanks for sharing your life on your boat, sorry your wife isn't feeling well, hope she's better soon. Stafe safe and healthy!
Love the honesty, to bloody cold :)
Thanks for watching!
Minimal List wouldn’t miss it.

Nice hair cut.....stay safe guys x

Hope Jo felt better quickly. Looking forward to where you head off to next.
Thank you.

Sounds like a productive day.
Love the name of your location, hope Jo soon felt better, thank you for the vlog
Love the bloopers! And you did it all by your self, without your wife. Hahaha... I hope she got better from the headache quickly! Stay safe!
Hope you are both keeping well and coping easily with the current lockdown.
We are fine thank you. We have everything we need. I hope you are doing ok too.

Greetings from my "containment cell" in Michigan - stay safe over there.
You too.
Really enjoying your vlogs and Barnby Dun lift bridge is only a 10 min walk away.
Thanks you!

Life is strange right now isn't it. It is weird editing footage from January not knowing what was to come. Take care.
Thanks for posting - helping everyone wait out the virus!
Thank you for watching.
Bit of a shocker, finding a 'corpse' lol. Keep well
Luckily it was a false alarm
Glad it was only a doll!

It is confusing! Especially when I try and speak American or Michael tries to speak English. Don’t even get us started on biscuits and gravy.

@@playhooky yes. Cruising the Cut usually is my go to Vlog. He has some good information on his vlogs.
Hope you are both well. Did George leave you that present on the mooring ring?
We are good thank you. George leaves us presents everywhere.
Hope Jo’s feeling better. Is George a Springer Spaniel? He absolutely adorable. Thanks for sharing!
Much better thank you! George is just winderful isn’t he!
I hope they got more fuel before they ran out. What happens if you run out of fuel on the canal? Is there an emergency boat service?

Can you please tell me the name of the guitarist playing on program 215? We are in total lockdown in New Zealand...good luck with yours.
My village where I live
Barnby Dun? We loved mooring there. I kind of wish we were there now.

The fire department photographed it then disposed of it. Poor thing! 😂
Glad to see an American refer to chips as chips and not Fry's.
Next you will refer to soccer as football
We won't even go to the bum bag debate 🙂
When I was doing Search & Rescue, I found a body in the Rio Grand. Ironic seeing I was trained for desert and mountain S&R.
Oh goodness!
Who knew cheese sammies are made with crusty bread, a non-dairy "buttery" spread and extra mature unmelted cheddar cheese?
David's daily lunch
Sound good to me

This vlog was filmed on the 7th January. We rode out the bad weather in Keadby
Very close to NB Perseverance taking another boat under tow again?
True, this would have been under much less stressful circumstances though,
