U have no idea how U have helped me throughout this year, keeping my mind occupied, listening to good music and U urself keeping my spirit up. Thank U son, ur such a awesome young man! Keep keeping on 🦋✌🦋
Probably my favorite Seger track, his takes you on his journey into the darker places where stardom isn't always the gloss and glitter and small mindedness rears its head. Great. Have a listen to Jackson Browne's "The Load Out/Stay, lengthy but a brilliant tribute to his roadies, yes another story.
It's really too bad you finally discover Bob Seger a year or so after he retired. Time passes so quickly. All these songs are from1976 to around 1986 and I feel like I was just listening to them on the radio yesterday.
I love that you’re discovering Bob Seger. He’s one of the greatest to do it. I highly recommend “Fire Lake” (The Eagles sing backup in that) and “Shame On the Moon.”
Yes, definitely Main Street, also love Hollywood Nights, Like A Rock (Chevy truck ad), Old Time Rock and Roll, Her Strut, We've Got Tonight, and many more amazing songs. Fantastic rabbit hole to travel down.
BOB SEGER'S music has been incorporated into Movies. RISKY BUSINESS with Tom Cruze. OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL. One he wrote for the movie BEVERLY HILLS COP II, BUSTED. A Chevrolet truck commercial LIKE A ROCK. METALICA did a cover of TURN THE PAGE. So much time had passed since BOB SEGER's release that everyone thought that it was a METALICA original. A story of his motorcycle ride across the country is ROLL ME AWAY.
Love Bob he is the Midwest’s storyteller. Bob gave the song “Like a Rock” to GM they used it for better than 10 yrs. Sold a lot of Chevy trucks. There is a good video that goes with it. Thanks for featuring Bob. 🔥🔥
Wait til u hear "Roll Me Away" and "Travelin' Man/Beautiful Loser"(LIVE VERSION or don't do it- All would agree.). Give 'em a spin, Sir. So much more Seger to check out thereafter. Enjoy the journey!
SO THAT WAS THE VERSION TAKEN OFF HIS LIVE 73 ALBUM ( LIVE BULLET ) :) THE REST OF THE SONGS ARE STUDIO VERSIONS, HE HAS SO SO MANY GREAT HITS YOU CAN DO SO! :)
@@dinahgray5396 Absolutely, it set the tone so brilliantly. The song is like a great sad movie. It pulls you in and you feel everything the main character is feeling.
You were pumping with the bass line and that includes the bass drum lines with it. Your reaction was very readable. At times you were very intense, clenching your jaw with emotion. May I suggest that you explore more Bob Seger. You connected with his style of music. It was written all over your face.🎼☯️
If you like Bob Seeger you will like Eddie Rabbit. He was truly amazing. I love a rainy night, drivin my life away, two dollars in the juke box. He was great.
Not trying to be preachy, but as a young man, Us kids were listening to this song during drivers training, when the part about the restaurant and feeling the eyes upon you and you being outnumbered and all came up, Omar, one of the black students pointed firmly at the radio and said "That! That right there! that's how black people feel A LOT!" I never forgot that.
Bob has been and will always be over the top. If you're impressed by what you've reacted to so far, hold on, you could build an entire channle around his music. Here's one, not much time till christmas, " Bob Seger and the Last Heard, Sock It To Me Santa. Just for fun.
In my top 5 songs of all time!! Glad you liked! Question: Are u looking at the official video (remastered) during the reaction? I don't mind just having audio bc I know the video well. I just hope you're seeing the video & not just audio or lyric video. Enjoyed reaction thx!!

One of the most underrated Bob Seger song was on a soundtrack from the movie "About last night" from 1986. Give "Living inside my Heart" a listen. I think you'll appreciate it.
Should have done the other version. Bob sounds the same in concert. One of my favorite artists. Aerosmith, cat Stevens. Jim Croce, I even like guns and roses.
Please go listen to Mainstreet. I saw him first time in 1977 and I have seen him 5 times. This song is a good 'Dancin in the Sheets' song. Alto Reed and his sax, course ya can hear it well on this one too,

Still killing it! Hate to bring some sad news to the channel but my kidney failure is now terminal. Would love to see you check out either "333" by hellyeah. Or "dig" by mudvayne. Or lastly if you like i recommend the Rammstein music video for "ich will". It would be the best Christmas gift ever knowing i got to share some music with you before the end. Either way it's upto you and no matter what you choose to do i still ride with you. Thank you for the joy you have brought me in these dark times. Much respect and love to you as always. For a straight out Seger banger, you gotta do HOLLYWOOD NIGHTS!!!!!!!!! ☮️🖤🤟
Bro, you gotta review Bob Seger's songs "Roll Me Away" and "Main Street". Pure fire!!!
You should react to shakedown. He wrote it for Beverly hills cop 2.
I think he just did the lyrics? Harold Faltermeyer, who scored the movie, and producer Keith Forsey share writing credits with Bob.
Try Shame on the Moon or Feel like a Number, two of Segers greatest
You should listen to 2 plus 2 is on my mind. It’s one of his lesser known songs but it’s awesome.
U should look @the 1973 version, shows him singing! Love your reactions!👍♥️
good reaction

I think he tells stories but he took vocal lessons from Brian Johnson from AC/DC,
I think the saxophonist recently died unfortunately
