- The 2024 #Subaru #Solterra #EV gets some minor improvements that make it significantly better. These include faster charging, interior changes, and more. It may be a little expensive, but strong lease deals could make this a great option for some people.

Nice car - leased one 5/4/24 - $2000 down $297 a month - 2024 Solterra Premium - hope this helps.
It definitely sounds like leasing the 2024 Solterra is the way to go. The buy price just doesn't make sense for a car that seems more like a non-luxury city commuter that Subaru slapped a lift package on to give it that *Subaru brand clearance*. I've got a Subaru that I'm looking to replace with (hopefully) another Subaru, but I'm definitely going to wait to see what their up and coming ev models are in the next few years. Hopefully it's not wishful thinking that they put out a Crosstrek (or even outback) ev. Great review!
Glad to see they're keeping with the split front foot well though! Other than the ground clearance and lack of physical buttons, thats probably my biggest gripe with the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
Leasing it is very cheap
Just picked it up for the wife, 2024 premium.
She loves it. I love it.
$850 cash out of pocket only and $329 a month for 36 months. You can’t beat that.
1st timers for elect car so we will see at the end of the Lease if we decide to continue down this road but for now we are happy.
Use it only for local trips barely any commute unless we go to the beach in the summer.
$329 a month before tax and license?
I love my forester and was anticipating how Subaru would do an ev car. I feel it’s pretty underwhelming
Here in Canada, the upper trim levels get 20-inch tires as opposed to what you said in your video was 19-inch tires which I believe is a mistake.
Great review. Thank u!
Please check on the parts problem with the Solterra. We've been waiting for some parts for almost a year.
Same situation here. Order parts directly from Toyota! Same parts!
If you get this for cheap it’s probably reliable transportation, but Toyota isn’t interested in making a good EV yet, and it shows. They could have given it competitive range, charging speed and horsepower and they just didn’t.
I saw a deal in my state of Colorado to lease a brand new Solterra for $99/mo with $0 down. Trying to figure out what the catch is…
Where did you find that deal? We just saw it for $300/mo
I saw that too, up in Longmont. I think the catch is that they don’t sell. So they’re trying desperately to get them off the lot. Same with other EV’s. I’ve seen lease deals from Nissan in Lakewood on the Ariya around $160 a month with $0 down.
No way 😮
We live in Cali and they quoted us $508/mo 12K lease 😅
@@thecasanovafamily8554 they are trying to rob you. The deal is for Cali to because the dealer soaks up the tax credits. They did ask me when I went in this week “what’s the most you’ll pay” I’m like dude the special was clear. No security deposit. $300 down 300 a month. Apparently there are better deals out there. I haven’t seen the $99 a month down yet but I want to read those terms.
People are really going wrong. Just the same hate following the crowd, and hate what everyone else hate. Tryout the Eu version of the Subaru, and reflect about it, maybe you would be surprised. Just my 2 cents
Solterra owner ☝
I've been driving a '23 Touring on loaner from dealer since Thursday. Don't understand the hate, though guess for the price, longer range and better charge time options are out there. Subaru people may stick with the brand, though not to the company's liking according to sales at this point. I personally love it this far.
