Also, this movie is the closest thing to perfection for a comic book adaptation. There's always a feeling of bleakness, and danger around every corner. The character internal monalogue, it's all so fucking perfect.
It really is the best. Marvs story is probably the best arc in the film too.
As Robert Rodriguez had said, he wasn’t interested in “adapting” the book, he wanted to translate it to film.
That morgul blade really did a number on Frodo.

Every deliberate millisecond of this movie is choreographed like a symphony..down to the coat flap in the breeze..What a masterpiece!

I like how Marv doesn't kill the dog, like he's got a soft spot for animals. Then I think of the time he held a guy's face to the pavement while driving a car.
And then I get confused.
He divides his targets depending on what he thinks of them.
He easily kill men, but never kill women and trying not to hurt animals.
It's a sort of his moral code. Actually even with men he says he needs
a reason to kill.

Everyone Marv killed though knew about Goldie’s murder and she was the one he would do anything for so I don’t think he had a problem murdering all of them.

Sin City villains are pretty cool, even the one with very few screen time like the priest has some lines that gets your blood cold.
The best by what? Kevin was the most powerful and mysterious but I think it was Jackie Boy who is the most intense and entertaining villain in the movie.
I was pretty impressed when I discovered the priest was Frank Miller! He can act very well!

I'm sorry but it was Benicio del Toro who stole the show in this movie. He nailed it every single minute of screentime and he made Jackie Boy so intense and scary, even after his death.
This is definitely awesome how all the characters they picked from the Millers comic book they're just alike even the voice I would think is just the greatest work

That is good writing, has Anime Vibes.
It's called private eye monologue and is a trope used predominantly in the film noir genre. Frank Miller uses it all the time, like in Batman or Deadpool but other comic books like Hellboy or Watchmen use it too. In Anime you have Darker than Black that use that style. The Max Payne video game series is also a good example of it.

But when there is a good manga/Anime it is one of the greatest Experiences I ever had.
