I Corinthians

Pride was on display within the Corinthian congregation. One of the evidences of this was the personal preferences for particular ministers of note by various groups in the church. Another evidence was the self-proclaimed wisdom supposedly possessed by those within the congregation. Paul reminds them of God’s calling on them and who they should be boasting in.
