Such a great teaching video ❤ explaining the stitches in such detail, close up and how to count them helps me to understand how to crochet. Best one I’ve watched 😊 and I’ve really improved, thank you. 🙏
Ive watched a few tutorials and this is by far the best. The way you identify the stitches with the darning needle is super clear, this is where I often slip up. Good work 👏
Thank you for your great tutorial. I've learned so much! Ive gone from knowing zero about crochet to feeling quite comfortable . Plus I'm left handed but I could still easily follow your instructions by just reversing right to left when needed.
Why do some patterns say a chain two at the beginning of a new row counts as a stitch and other patterns say it doesn’t count as a stitch. Very confusing 😃
Great question I can definitely see how that would be confusing! I think it just depends on the tutorial or pattern that you are using / who you are learning from. Everyone crochets a little bit differently but there’s no right or wrong way of doing things, so as long as you have the same stitch count in the row you should be good!
Me too. But after years of being told I couldn't do it, I'm finding that I can follow these instructions by just visualising them back to front. And there are even left handed tutorials for crochet on You Tube. Lefties can do anything!! Especially as we usually have a highly creative streak because our brains are wired differently.
