Absolutely! If working with a hdc or a dc stitch, I would do only 2 turning chains (not 3) and then there is a bit less space along those edges and it should avoid those holes in the corners! What kind of stitch are you working with?
Great question!!! Because I don't crochet in the same stitch as the chains at the start of the row, and then at the end I crochet in the last st AND the chains, it balances out to the same st count!! Not adding or subtracting any stitches 😊
Thank you! Most of the videos I found just show how to do the stitch and not what to do when you end and start a new row. This was so helpful.
Thank you SO MUCH! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video! I think the start/end of the row is really the MOST important haha.
The whole time I was doing it wrong. I never skipped the first chain so that is why my work used to have folded sides 😂 thank you for sharing ❤❤
Aww thanks! Glad I could help 😊
Thank you ❤
So glad you found it to be helpful ❤️❤️
I’m loving the crochet hook holder where is it from please
It's an ergonomic hook handle - that I absolutely LOVE! Here is the link amzn.to/3UBvgr5 I just got it off amazon!
Thanks for sharing this very helpful but is there a way not to get those big holes in the corners? Hugs😊

@Crochet.With.Cookie ....Double Crochet
This is so helpful, but how would this affect the row stitch count, if any? How do you count the stitches in the row?

Do you have a pattern for this?
Thanks for the video.
Hi! I am just creating a sample here for the demonstration - there is no pattern for it :)
that third chain look like a 2nd chain. I thought the part where the yarn hook comes out didn't count as one. That part is confusing.
