    For those wondering about the strange recording, the organ is tuned about a tone higher than normal and Koopman is very free with ornaments and tempo (which is stylistically appropriate for this music). See the description for more information.

    It's kind of hard to swallow the "tuned about a tone higher". It sounds more like Koopman hit the transpose button before recording and ended up playing the whole thing in E minor. I am not an organ proficianado, but if an organ is truly tuned for A to be at 495.5, then EVERY SINGLE PIECE played with other instruments would have to be transposed down a whole step. It just doesn't make sense.

    Écoutez cette œuvre jouée par Jean Guillou ; il est encore plus " engagé ", sans prétendre jouer " à l'Historique " comme le prétend la secte des baroqueux dont Koopmann est le grand messie ! !
    Dans 10 ans cela fera rire !
