For everyone who wants to know how to beat Troubled Waters (the DPS check phase), here are some tips: 1. When you're far away, rush forward using Wildfire if you can, or R1 if you have to to avoid attacks. Don't dodge to the side - that wastes too much time. Go straight in and dodge. 2. Master this button sequence: square-triangle-square-triangle-square-triangle-triangle. If done with the correct timing, you'll get Backdraft, which will help.Any Fireball Burst will help, too. 3. In the previous phase, when Leviathan is approaching half health, stop using Brimstone and Spitflare. As soon as this phase opens, get up next to the shield and invoke Spitflare, then Brimstone. This should give you enough cooldown to use Spitflare at least twice and Brimstone three times. 4. Don't stop when you see the knockback forming. 2. Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide.
I love how in this cases fire beats water
Ready for a continuation of this story, we have too many Eikons out there needing to be discovered, this is the best FF game since FF IX I would love a remake of Zidane and IX but this story and fighting System is just too Epic to just end it after two DLCs, we need more gameplay and need to be able to control Joshua and Jill, you can't just give us a Young Joshua control and end with Clive all the way through come on...they better not go to XVII without finishing this story first.
Through the Maelstrom!!!!!! I knew it Soken!!!
Bro I bought both DLC’s how come I can’t play them?
I finished all hunts and mission and even game and am up to NG+ now Final Fantasy level!
I don’t get it… it’s meant to notify me in game somehow right?
1) You gotta do the Jill and Joshua sidequests at the end of the game
2) if you just started NG+, you either gotta get to the end of it or go back to a save file where you’re in endgame before you started NG+
@@nemi9217 I did that, was literally up to ‘Origin’ didn’t click on it, did every single side quest, even the final one which was Svarog that massive dragon.
Where does it come up though?
I heard it comes on Charon, she has a purple symbol or colour on her head as an icon to it being something new.
@@101Spacetime It's supposed to become available after Origin becomes available and after you clear the two sidequests "When There's a Will" and "Priceless" (which unlock Joshua and Jill in the party until you finish the game).
The purple icon on Charon notifies the "Echoes of the Fallen", which is the first DLC.
To start this one, you should see a letter markes by a yellow icon inside Clive's room and read it.
@@dinorex3464 okay maybe I didn’t go to the room and see the letter, thanks.
But I did do all the side quests and was up to Ultima in Origin. Thanks… hope it works this time, for the 2nd play through. 😅
@@101Spacetime Hope so!
Also, some side quests are unlocked through letters in Clive's room, so if you missed those maybe that's why.
"Priceless" is unlocked through a letter Joshua sends to Clive after clearing "When There's a Will".
Dude what the fuck am i doing wrong!?! I cannot get his press the attack phase down.
Don’t forget to use magic burst to your advantage at the end of your combos. Does a ton of damage.
Umm CPS? Come get him. Dude just beat up what is basically a 1 month year old baby.
Just realized that when ifirt does his fire breath he sounds like toothless
I’m convinced that Square Enix also hired the people who made Dark Souls, because half of Leviathan’s attacks are unfair/barley avoidable. 😂
I still enjoyed the fight and Sokken COOKED with this one.
To be honest I found the attacks quite readable and rarely got hit.
The problems came with the third phase. Had to be perfect there.
…
Does anyone else wan eel sushi after watching this?
Tough battle
Fr I'm pissed off that im stuck in this bullshit but i cant be too mad cause its still badass
Is it more or Do I hear a Kirby soundtrack in levitations theme?
This somehow reminds me a bit of the Orphan of Kos from Bloodborne...
Huh Leviathans design is pretty much the same as FFXV with a few bits of changes here and there😂 It was a kinda predictable especially when you saw its figure in the Mural
Actually a difficult boss, i guess the devs realized after the base game that Clive had insane plot armor destroying all the other eikons and nerfed him lol
Groudon vs kyogre be like
4 firelights in 14:29 to 6 in 14:30
Fire VS Water
12:00
I cant seem to beat this part. Im always running out of time. Its getting reqlly frustrating
Don’t forget to make use of magic burst at the end of your combos. Does a ton of damage.
Hardest fight in this game.
Hydrogen Bomb VS Coughing Baby
this fight was hard as shit man but i loved every minute
Cant wait to see this on xbox
I need to know the OST in the very beginning!!
Is it good dlc? Waiting for your review bro.. dont want to see it yet 😂
Yes, absolutely. There’s a whole new area to explore in this one. It’s much better than the first DLC.
I switched to story mode and I am not ashamed. The Troubling Waters shield is a glorified dps check. The angry seas is another bs moment. I am an average player. I can dodge 7 out of 10 times. But during that shield bs moment if you get hit once is over. The boss is hard cause he takes to little damage and he deals to much. Even in story mode I died 10 more times.
Cinematic is an amazing fight. But gameplay its damage needs to be nerfed. And troubling waters countdown needs to be slower.
These graphics are not so bad though
This fights annoying me he hides in that stupid little shield and then tsunamis everything i just dont understand why we cant upgrade ifrits powers and do more damage cause this is horse shit
Edit: im max level now and i still SOMEHOW aint getitng it my attacks arent charging fast enough and im left very close to breaking the shield but not doing it idk what to do anymore...
Ifrit scales with Clive
@@Rageouz I am aware however it would be nice to upgrade ifrit and have stronger attacks and or gain more
@@damienorr4800Use magic burst at the end of your combo. Does a ton of damage.
It’s going to be the year 2059 and there will *still* be QTEs.
till sea shallows all
I went through Press The Attack like... 20 times doing alot more than what you did and still fail
I can't get over the shield Phase in the fight. Is there a way to do more damage?
I had the same problem. Had to go back and level up. Ifrit scales with clive’s power. I saw a huge difference when i went back at level cap.
@@enzoapacible1083well i cant really do that cause my load is the beginning of the water tornado fight id have to redo the whole fucking dlc what level are you?
@@damienorr4800you need to be perfect with the combos, i had to try multiple times too, use trianagle skill imediatelly at the beginning and then the square one in the red area and use the normal attack combo 4 times square 2 times triangle
Any one knows how to do ifits sound design
FF16 is already one of my favorite FF games and was a massive breath of fresh air after the trash we call FF15.
15 isnt bad tho what?
@@damienorr4800 the only good part of 15 was the ending and the character development of Noctis. Outside of that most of the story was bland as hell, there was a lot of empty world and unnecessary fights that took forever for no reason.
@@codienoneman1815Interesting because a lot of Rebirh fans think 16 is trash
@@Mohgenstein i can't speak to rebirth, i havnt played it yet unfortunately, i plan to do so soon but with work and stuff going on at home i havnt had time to play much video games for the last few months.
Even after 100 hrs of rebirth I came back to play this DLC and had more fun.
Very tough
Why I never want children be like
Ifrit be the most try hard eikon out there LMAOOOO
