stocks will continue to rally, stocks are not the economy, I had 250k put aside waiting for the fed to stop raising rates. Now I want to get back into the markets, but the hike will continue and stocks are still climbing,

The stock market will go down further and goodluck on the fed pausing rate hikes w/ all the hawkishness that has failed to keep up with inflation.

Stay in the mrkt and sell only if you need those funds. I got laid off and it has been difficult getting another source of income, glad I was investing when I did and of course with guidannce from a wealth-manager don’t listen to naysayers. I am making bank and the penalties for drawing from 401k to reinvest are nothing compared to the amount of wealth I now possess with my family.

I have saved myself from all the hassle that the chaotic market causes. These days the best way to come into the market space is seeking guidance, due to side hustles i can’t handle my portfolio so i just work with LOREN LENA WALKER, a FA i came across via a recommendation from one of these TH-cam retirement coaches.
It’s been smooth since then. Cliche as it may I have made a mark up of 70% in profits investing 350k under her. It helps not to be worried about your portfolio every minute of the day.

There's a reason they call him "The Legendary" Ron Baron! He is one of the few "old school" tradefi investors who sees the potential in Tesla to be a multi-trillion dollar company. I listened to him in the early years of Tesla and bought shares in the company and continue to dca into the stock. Thank you Mr. Baron for your insight!

The earlier the better I guess. In 2015 while I still worked at Fremont. I got TSLA shares at $91. those shares were valued at $3.6M before I sold them early in the year… Bought my model Y last year at $52k. This is not a feat I was able to achieve alone. I work with a consultant at my brokerage. I diversified my portfolio and in total I am upwards $5M at 48.

Elon is driven to innovate, have the highest quality possible, revolutionize manufacturing, have the best engineers in the world working for him. He does not suffer carelessness, sloppy work, lazy perople or people who do not support the mission he lays out for his companies. He is blunt and direct and any of those traits will get an instant response from him. I have seen Issacson do several interviews now and that is what he describes. When he questioned Musk about how "mean" he was being to someone Musk did not view it as mean. He was being direct and letting that person know what was or wasnt appropriate, As an investor, bravo. Have you ever had a boss that want to tell you that you did something wrong but they start out "I know you probably didn't mean to, but" You never know where you stand with them. Vesus, hey, that was wrong, do it this way from now on. Clear, concise and mean if you are a snow flake.

Tesla is not focusing on the basics. Charging time, charging availability, and range. Those should be the 3 top priorities. Everyone who wants a Tesla already has one. The rest are held back by these 3 things. Tesla is going to start missing projections, because they are not in touch with their customers. If/when tax credits go away, that will further dampen demand. Sales are being propped up by the government. Tesla needs to compete on a level playing field.

Going through the comments I just have to say this. Let's all CALM DOWN. It's true things are this way but do you know why the rich keep getting richer? They are smart enough to keep doing whatever they do that works over and over again. Even if some of them are not very ethical. Truth be told, the world has always been like this. My advisor cautioned me back in the pandemic times that it's gonna take at least 5 years for the world economy to normalize again. And it's been rolling out like that so far. I took some measures, diversified my then $120k portfolio into more time tested holdings, today it's close to the $1M mark. Do I feel the inflation, sure! but can I live with it, YES! All because I played the game smart. The sooner you work on something, the better and faster the results. Of course the economy is like a storm right now but I can bet you that A LOT OF PEOPLE still live their normal lives. Cut down spending a little bit, adjust to the state of things and surely you'll weather this storm. Don't get me wrong, most politicians and banks are still selfish i**ots

■■■ As far as the Tesla "mission", the timeline toward achievement will not be linear, and will progress at a rate realized and effected by many factors (social/cultural/political/financial/etc. -- future generations will effectively realize the transitions more than ourselves today). I hope well for the world's future.
As far as my personal "financial benefit" of my TSLA stock investment, I have but a single, personally important question (relative to the fact that our live's are finite... very short, actually, and retirement is imminent for myself): in what years is it most probable the stock price will reach $1000, then $2000?
"Knowing" (that's the pickle, as I now near retirement) those is everything to me. "Most probable" is even perhaps completely allusive (**sigh**). But "hope" still asks the question.

The smarter question is why does he have his skin in the game?? He does not have to. He is not compelled. It's not a cult, is it! Only a fool (hint) would think Baron is a fool. His track record of investment attests to this. I'll leave it to you to joint the dots on yourself!!

The motive of all these billionaires investors is to simply make more money. Having a good reputation is very profitable. You can’t expect him to be unbiased and objective when he is financially tied to the man. Just like the rest the numerous elon musk fans out there who either emotionally attached to him because they like the tesla car or invested in the stock. It’s obvious he will come out to defend him. He already gave disclosure of how significantly financially tied he has with elon musk. Just like how your comments turned into a strategic name calling and labeling others naïve just because they don’t share the same view as you. Didn’t expect 3 musk fans jumping in so quickly to defend him already. Trying to do anything to drive away negative views of musk
